Smallest Plant?

I don't have a lot of space to grow, so when I get a new strain I usually take very small clone and flower it to see if I want to dedicate precious square footage to a real grow with it. I think this one is about done getting taller now, but still has a few weeks left. I'd say 3" is probably the smallest I've grown to harvest without topping or training.
I have a 2 year old Coast Redwood(the 300 footers) in a bonsai pot standing a whopping 2 inches tall, so I imagine that if somebody really put their mind to it they could make a seriously tiny bud.

whats the smallest you've ever grown from seed?
Well, i dunno really. Maybe a foot and a half or so. Never really tried to intentionally keep one small from seed. As I said I use mini clones so I can cull strains I don't want while the mom is still vegging.
I have some seeds from a pure sativa laying around. I might just germ a few of them and see how short I can make a tall plant without training. It will be fun regardless of turnout.

some kid on here flowered a plant under a 23 watt . It was less than 2.5 inches total!! This was from seed. LINK TO THE 2 INCH CHRONIC

i have one going right now, not sure on the exact measurement but its pretty damn small....link to pic in sig 1st grow.....and it "wasnt" on purpose
Shit! If the cotyledons weren't visible in the earlier posts I would have never believed that was from seed. Sickly as hell, but smallest I've ever seen.

shit thats cool i think im going to try and grow one even smaller. i once heard of someone that grew a plant in a shot glass but couldnt find anything about it must be like some kind of weed urban legend.
There was a whole shot glass grow challenge on one of these forums a year or two ago. if you search for it you can probably still find it. was a whole bunch of ppl seeing who could get the nicest plant, not the smallest, but out of a shot glass either way.

The plastic party cup grow off is a little more realistic, people were able to get actual yields.
this is a auto so small to start with but i have never seen a plant this small and if you look close you can see female parts on two of the pics

these are pics of a 6 week old diesel ryder one of my beans from a seed run i did on my second grow im gardening now for a year and one month i already had a herm, a mutant, spider mites, nats, and now a little runt i guess if you grow long enough you will have seen it all
the thing that bugs me the most is it turned up female as you can see in 2 of the pics
i got tired of taking care of it knowing it will not produce enough for one puff
besides my curosity was about solved
i layed it next to a quarter to scale proportion

You should have budded it just for shits. I know you wouldnt get much if anything to smoke but still it would have been cool (genus book of world records)lol

yea bro search the forums, people have shot glass grow-offs often. i have seen some fucked up plants grown out of a shotglass. wish i had a link.. but one kid had a shot glass grow that yeilded a whopping 3 grams.. pretty ridonkulous considering it was a fucking ounce of soil lol
