T5(20,000 lumen kit) vs. HPS/MH 400watt

20,000 usable lumens is better then 40,000 with 20% in a good spectrum..

I am using a 6 bulb t5 now to veg. The power is great. 30k lumens over 4 plants to veg and sometimes I lower it 2 20k for power consumption. I paid about 170 for it new at a hydro store with 6500 k bulbs.

It has no heat! I mean none. I am so happy. There was all kinds of thot that their was heat on the threads. I bought it and I got none. Plants love it.

I agree.. mine burnt out and I had to throw the HPS in there and they grow way lankyier.. and bush out more..

I really need to get a new MH
