Not sure how much your paying for ipods where your at but the electricity would end up being much much cheaper. buy a real ballast and bulb, your mom would be pissed if she has to buy you another ipod due to you playing with the flashlight too much. I have never heard of anyone breaking it and not being able to use it anymore due to this but I am sure it can be done. A bulb of any kind even CFL would be cheaper to replace than ipod and electric bill is minimal and weird how you concentrate on electric bill and not price of ipod or camera for that matter as well. Bulb plus cost to run it still cheaper

i have CFL'S JEEZ IM DOING A EXPERIMENT AND TO TELL THE TRUTH DEAD SERIOUS IT SEEMS LIKE ITS WORKING. I'm guna let it go till monday under my ipod touch 24/0 till monday and if it dont do anything i will go back to using my cfl's. i have read so much about weed i could prolly write a book i knw about lumens i knw about the light has to penetrate ive been growing indoor and outdoor since i was 15. its been A FEW years i knw im not that great at growing im just trying to find out new stuff now and try things out that hasnt been tryed or stuff that people have tryed and have been to scared to post just bcuz they knew this would happn lol i knew it would cuz i seen a beginner ask a question that made total sense and had been proved just trying to find a answer and everyone went off on him evn 3 years later! i have read so many threads im up all day jus reading away (unless i gotta bunch of weed then ill just smoke n watch funny movies evry 20 mins lol). i wana see one of you try something that you have always wondered but read something that made you think different on the internet. and if im slow half of you have to be mentally retarded. bcuz u should knw by now that you cant believe 75% of the things you read on the internet. therefore i ask questions and if asking questions make you slow then you must think that every inventor in the history of the world is slow bcuz most of them question everything they do. my hypothesis is that it wont work but if it does i will feel that much smarter then all of you that said im slow. most ppl wont say ne thing back when evry1 attacks them but im not the type of person that runs and hides.

both of ur post actually got me thinking this is a bad idea, but i got a few things to say drug money bought my ipod and 4 the 5th time i have CFL's im just experimenting! good grief. lol. im wondering how long it will take also i already need a new screen thanks to playing catch wit it when high lmao good day even tho that happnd but, even if it does go out ill prolly jus get it replaced and use the cfls for the rest of the grow.

may i ask if your retarded? a atari! lmao jeez read a book for once. u apparently have no idea about ipod touches or else you would know that the backlight + a flashlight app can actually produce very a bright light. i thought the backlight was all the way up when it was only 1/3rd of the way up. trust me it looks like a tiny computer screen sitting over my pot. it hurts my eyes when i look at it. 2,000 years off buddy marijane hasn't been around for 12,000 years only about 10,000 and Afghanistan prolly ddnt have it untill about 8,000 years ago. jeez do u knw nethng about weed other then how to grow??

ok ya experiments are fun like im growing under a diffused laser diode, butdude, its a fucking ipod, youd get better light putting ur pc monitor up next to it, and stop acting like you know everything pots been around longer then 10k even 15k years probably a few billion years XD but seriously go buy a MV and a HPS light like the big boys, uve been growing a few years and u still only use cfls? thats funny shit dud, now get off the forums before everyone else realizes ur still 15
