Very Small Exhaust Fan Needed!

I am making a cab, its 32 inches by 15 by 15 inches. I need a very small exhaust fan to push air through a very small carbon filter I am making. Anyone have any experience, or know any very small fans I can fit? I am talking about like, 2 inch diameter exhaust ports. They also have to be pretty quiet.

pc fans won't push through really really thick carbon filters. keep that in mind.

there you'll find all sorts of different fans, at good prices.

you're gonna want the most powerful one they got, i suggest this one:

it's the most powerful one they got. 110CFM's. that's more than the cheapest bathroom extractor fan they sell at the home depot (70CFM's)......

I've gotten those before. Not bad, can move some air, but not much through a scrubber. If you were planning on scrubbing AND exhausting, I don't know if it would work. They also arn't too quiet. Not too loud, but not silent.

On a side note, is this your first cab? What light source are you putting in it?

first cab, 3rd grow. 4-42 cfl;s. Contemplating a 150 watt hps...

yeah if you get these fans it's best to put two, one on each side of any odor control, one pushing, one pulling the air through.....

if it's a small cab using CFL's it'll work to keep the temps down.

just keep the exhaust up high, the intake down low.....

If you are using two fans, both should be pushing. If one is pushing and one is pulling, you arn't creating negative air pressure, and you arn't utilizing both fans.

If both fans are rated at 110 CFM, and one is pulling 110 CFM in while the other is pushing 110 CFM out, you are moving 110 CFM. On the other hand if you put both to push out, then you are moving 220 CFM out.

Also, go with CFL's, 150 hps in that small of a space will be a headache. For your first cab that space is small, just so you know. It's always easier to build a big cab, then try to trim down, rather than the other way around. But good luck, none the less.
