The Weirdest Question

Okay, I have a really strange question. And no I'm not totally stoned...at least not TOTALLY. I found gnat eggs on my beautiful lady that is about three weeks out from harvest. I sprayed insecticidal soap on the undersides of the leaves and now the plant smells like soap instead of weed. Should I just toss the whole plant? Can I wash the buds and let them dry? Will all of the 'good stuff' go down the drain with the soap? Are you rolling on the floor laughing yet??? Thanks for your in put...please be kind. I'm very new at this.

I'd hold it under the shower for a few. Rinse it off really good. What kind of insecticide?

soap might wash a bit of the THC off, cause it works well for your hands, should be fine if you rinse it though. 3 weeks is a long time to recover

I was asking about what was in the soap. Some chemicals are more harmful than others.

Well soap is going to wash off some of the "good stuff". But if you still have 3 weeks to go I'm pretty sure the smell should come back as the plant naturally gets rid of the insecticide. But as far as washing the plant with water, I absolutely hate doing that, every time the smoke ends up worse than it was before.

The only way to sort this mate is to use the plant leaves stem buds to make isolator / hash as the soap will drain through with water leaving only sweet hash http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ed5CMooL5U&feature=related so easy we use all mails female leaves stalks every think gets saved until late summer then we have a sesh making hash hope this helps

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. How bad could it be to put my plant in the shower and give it a light rinsing witha fine shower?
