Thanks Yeah, I guess I do.Leothwyn, you have very esoteric taste. I've never heard of most of them. I WILL be looking them up though.
The Concierto de Aranjuez is a beautiful piece. Years ago, I happened to meet the mother of one of the guitarists of the De Falla Trio, and she got me free tickets to see him perform the Concierto de Aranjuez down in L.A.. It was great to see live. This is amazing. Last night I was listening to Concierto de Aranjuez by Rodrigo
TY...Wavels, nice list, did you leave out Beethovens 5th for any particular reason?
TY...
It is only because to me it has almost become a cliche'.
I kinda thought that might be the reason. But I once heard a wise man say that cliches become cliches for a good reason. Being a cliche doesn't stop me from enjoying the monumental 5th.
Appalachian Spring curls my toes.
This is a fun thread. I'm tired of telling newbs when to start flowering or why their leaves are turning yellow and wilting (not that I'll stop, we were all noobies once). Let's keep it going guys.
Right now I gotta go make some potato salad for a little Superbowl gathering tomorrow. But not before I send some rep to tth and those of you who have expanded my knowledge.
Hmmmm.....what music goes good with making potato salad? I wonder.
Ooooh yes, PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION.
Orchestrated or piano version? Hell...I'll listen to them both.
