I was using crap mg babies were doing bad drooping and turning yellow. I bought 20 lbs of organic soil 5 lbs peat moss and 5 pounds perlite. My question is, given what I have how should I mix it? Thanks all.

Sounds like a good ratio as it sets to me. Just mix it up. Now make sure you have real Pearlite and not that weed killing garbage which Miracle Grow sells and is marked Pearlite but contains all kinds of poisonous plant foods. That is about the only brand available around here unless you want to drive to Timbucktoo and get highway robbed prior from departing the Hydro Dope Supply Store. They have real Pearlite there.

When I mix soils I do it based on volume and not weight.

So, tentatively speaking, I would use this as a base:
2 parts soil
1 part peat
1 part perlilte

But.....
What brand of soil is it? How does it feel? soggy or dry? I can get organic soil from the cypress bogs that is almost dripping or some dry pine bark crap from Miracle Grow and the ratio for each soil would be completely different. Do have anything to buffer the pH? Are you adding any composted manure or other amendments?

I think you have an acceptable base to start with but it could be much better with very little effort.
