Hey guys, there is a new growth sprouting from on of my plants cotyledons, from right where the cotyledon and the stem meet, is this normal is it an unexpected growth. obviously no harm just curious about it.

I have a girl going right now that has a strange mutant branchling coming out from under the cotyledon. I wanted to chop it off, it is so ugly. The plant is 2 feet tall with 4 massive branches coming out of the base, and then this 5th straggling pathetic little runt squeezing out under them.
I figured I'd let it go and see what it does, can't hurt anything. I'll update as it grows.

That is exactly what mine is, the way you described it, yeah I will post pics of mine once it starts developing as well. Can't wait to see yours!

i have a Deep Purple from TGA Subcool thats doing this but the growth is under BOTH cotyledons i was like what the Hell is this shit heh i was gonna use uncle bens topping for 4 colas but if i do that with these growths i beleave i will end up with 6 colas still topping at 2nd node heh
