I read on HTG that you can start seedlings at 24hrs of light and then later switch them to 20/4 for veg. I want to know if this is true, if so, can this also be done with clones?

QUESTION NUMBER 2!!!!!!

I have 1 fem white widow seed and 1 fem white rhino that I plan on vegging then cloning into a small SoG, I was reading about WW and Greenhouse seeds talks about turning off the lights for the last 2 weeks or switching them down to 6 on 18 off. This supposidly triggers the plant into a frenzy to protect its self by producing more resin. I also would like to know if this is true and If so can this be done with White rhino?

All suggestions and comments are welcome. Im ganna go smoke a bowl now cause I havent written anything this long since highschool.

you can actually run 18 on 6 off if you prefer.

Dont know about the question 2, i know theres alot of little things you can do to make them better but have no ideas about the weird dark cycles people use....... ive heard people using 48-72 hours of dark to promote flower or make more resin, i never have had to, they just flower when i tell them to, and they make resin when they do.

I would run 18 on 6 off which is normally what I do, but im ganna be putting them in my clone box for the first week or so then throw them under the MH.

umm i donno about 6 on 18 off for Question 2 but i know that if you put a couple of those UVB lights you can get at any pet store, they seem to make the plant protect itself from the uv rays and it makes a ton of resin. i tried it to see if it would work and my plants have so much sugar on them that they smell like the finest hash out there and there only3 and a half weeks into flower.

question 2-

i have heard of this with many strains, i also heard of leaving the lights off 2 days before harvest. But it has yet to have ever been proven to me.

I did it with sweet tooth once, and i noticed no difference. so i stopped trying after that. its possible since they made the seeds they would know best, its just never been proven to me. i would just do it normally, since i doubt it will do anything with WR. and you have other strains to worry about as well in your garden.

I have tried the lights out 48 hours before harvest, and I did see a slight difference.

But in all reality,
When you chop em down, there still alive and putting out resin in the drying area.

Why waste 2 valuable days without photosynthesis, Ya know.
