What are texas/mega fries?? I make "Loaded Fries" or as we call them, "RBC" fries. Nacho cheddar, bacon, and ranch on the fries. SO GOOD!!!

I've quit the latter to take the former, and it changed my life. I had less money, but I was happier than I'd been in years.

roflmao! All this talk of nuts reminds me that it won't be to much longer before we'll be in the middle of calving season again. And while I'm not a rancher I'm sure I'll once again get the opportunity to help out some of my neighbors who are.
There's just nothing like the taste of a fresh, tender, young calf nut that's straight off the calf. Preperation is fairly simple. You just use the same propane weed burner that's being used to heat the branding irons and scorch the shit out of it until the outer sheath blackens and splits open. Then it's just a matter of pinching it between the thumb and fore finger until the inside pops (or may be I should say squirts) into your mouth.
They have a lot creamier (pun intended) texture if done this way versus sliced, battered and fried.
The first time around you just have to think of it as a "test of manhood".
