Looks like your starting to get everything going in the right direction. I'm still watching to see how things turn out. Oh and of course I would love to see your new puppy. By the sound of it your gonna have a big dog. I've got a 2 1/2 year old English Mastiff and he's pretty big, like 135 lbs. His name is Angus he's can be a little hard to handle at times but he's my best friend.

keep up the good work

Oh shit!
I've got a problem. The plants, most of them on the the tips of the top leaves are turned yellow. And some of the lower leaves on one of the plants has the same issue.
I think it's from either from over fertilizing them, or the new light is too close. So I've moved the light up, and, I can't really take the fertilizer out. I used only a little bit though, just about once every two weeks.
I wish I could post pictures right now, but soon...

dude relax,
i am almost sure from the way you described it that it is no a fert problem, nute burn is mostly at the very tips of leafs and its brownish, if the leafs are turning yellow then its more likely a water problem, too much or two little, depends how the leafs look, if they are curled down then its too much water and if they are pointy then its too little.
but it aint a nute problem! here is a pic of my plant with a liiiiitle nute burn

you burned the plants with the lights move em away a bit and thell turn around

@cacked yeah it's like that, but a bit worse.
The light is about 7 in. away from the tallest plant(Which is the one with the preflowers).

Update:
Well I germinated 6 seeds, about a day and half ago. 5 out of the 6 seeds have been put into soil. I'm still waiting for the last one to sprout.

I found a CFL 48 in. ballast for $five. And to get bulbs it costs about $6.27 each. Which in total I would have to pay about $20 everything. Which I thought was great, however... I measured the length, and wouldn't you fucking know it I''ve got 47 in. of space. I think I could fit it, if it's placed at an odd angle. But I'm not sure, I'm thinking just getting more 24 in. lights.

I don't grow soil but when my plants where turning yellow it was defiantly because I wasn't giving them enough water and the light was drying everything out to quick.

I can't recommend a soil watering schedule so I don't know but do you have one a hydrometer it measures temp (high and low) and humidity?

I got mine at walmart for like under $10 the nice thing about it is that the one i have keeps a high, low and current value that way when I am away I can make sure things aren't getting to hot..

How is your air circulation?

Major update!
I just got my camera back, and some weed. I'm totally baked guys....
Anyways... Well I'm sure you guys will laugh at my ghetto ass light configuration, with the hangers and such...
So here's the pictures:

get em outta those clear cups and get that light closer that stretch is BAD bro real bad should be 1/3 that height at least

Goddammit, I knew I was forgetting something. Well I've put electricians tape on the clear cups. Which I think will help.

Question... Do you think pot plants can be affected by caffeine? Because I love coffee/energy drinks and was wondering if you did put coffee grounds as nutrients. Or simply watered with coffee some of the time (Not all). So what do you think about that? Has anyone tried it?

i wouldnt use caff. Nice pup ive got 2 alaskan huskies myself love great dogs things looking better i agree with dude get your light closer and get a better fan on them helps to beef up the stems and back off the nutes they look nute burned to me also get a fan and blow it across the tops of the plants and then you can get that light about 8-10 inches off the top of your plants will help alot the light you have will only penetrate about 20 inches down . I would also top the taller plants to help them bush out instead of up if you need any more help just message me you can check out my journal in my signature and see the progress of my ladies.

It's just something that I thought would be interesting. Maybe on my next grow I'll try it with clones. Same light, watering time. I think it would be interesting.
I could also do some other ideas... such as fruit with plants, different liquids, etc.

your hella overthinking this shit bro just slow down a bit if you use those liquids whats the ph in em if the ph is fucked you'll lock out nutes fuck your plants in general tell me how risking this would at all be worth seeing you clones get a caff buzz

It's about the unknown effects on the bud... Of course you would have to be careful, but it not like I can't get more seeds, and I'm probably not going to sell that shit, unless it's fucking awesome of course.

Update:
Well I bought some more soil, and with a method mentioned by mikegreenthumb I repotted four of the plants, the one in the square, two seedlings, and the one that's flowering.
I used bags, with a bit of tape for support.

Behold!

looking good! did you remember to cut drainage holes?

Yes.
Well they're starting to stink more. I had my door closed, and the closet open for about two hours. So when I opened it I was like "Damn...... this shit's dank...."
Anyways.
Question: Well I was wondering what are your feelings on triming your plants? I'm thinking about trimming mine.
