I just stuck a phillips head screwdriver right through and poked a hole in the bottom.

I never cut the sponges or poked holes in them at all. The roots will grow through the sponge in all different directions until it comes out the bottom of the sponge and start growing towards the rez.. I wouldnt do a light schedule of 24/7 until u are at least a month and a half into vegging. If i was you i would stick with a 18/6 light schedule until they are bigger and stronger. Too much light at young stages of veg can burn or even kill ur babies.. Check out my first and second grows journals they will be very helpful to you..

fianlly i can post the pics!!! well thats where they are its about two weeks now cuz i fucked up the one in the front and had to plant a new one. but ya those are what im working with for now. gonna flush and add nutes thurs. hopefully they will pop up more than any help or comments are appreciated. keep smokin!!!!

well i broke down and changed the water and added a 1/4 tab the aerogarden nutes. the leaves on the bigger one were hanging down a little. i also hooked up the figure 8 cord so just the hood is on and no longer the pump cuz all the roots are in the water.

Well that one looks a lil stunted, so shes gonna strugle some, but the other two should be fine, i hope they respond to the nutes ok, did you pre dissolve the tab before placing it into the rez?

the other two look strong the leaves are kinda hangin down on the one which kinda worries me but it could just be cuz its my first time and im paranoid. yup pre dissolved it and checked ph all is well

also i have a question, all the roots are in the water although some are more devolped than others, but its still fine to have the ag pump off and just run my airstones? i just wanna make sure cuz the sponges are starting to dry up now so if i need the pump on i should turn it back on asap thanks for the help/ opinions and checkin my grow out guys!!!

I start my plants in an AG. Then transplant into dwc, but i have a few times left one plant in the AG. This time around I started Super Skunk and an AK-47 Auto to stay in the AG while I vegged the SS. Turned out to be a male AK, using it for pollen.
As far as the AG pump, once your plants have plenty of roots and you put in an air stone or 2, the pump will be insignifigant, from my Experience.
I only got one pic off before my battery went dead, but you cane see the AG under a 600Mh

ok ok the stones do run 24/7 but how would they keep the sponges damp? they dont produce like huge bubbles or nothin lol and heres a pic of the front one. the last part of the seed has been stuck on it for a while now and i just pulled it off today , im hopin thats why she was drooping, but we shall find out in the am when i wake up i guess
