LST'ing in the 2nd week of flowering...

I'd imagine the stalk is off limits by now...but what about the limbs of the bud sites? Tie them down, spread em out? I have a bunch of really tall ones (almost 3 feet on the 2nd week of flower) NYPD and Bubblelicious..


any tips are appreciated...

You can supercrop and tie down whenever you want really. I will sometimes supercrop a branch and then tie it down so the supercrop holds where I want it.

The real purpose of LST is to create multiple colas by tying down the main cola and allowing lower branches to catch up. If you do it 2 weeks in flower you are still allowing more light the lower branches, so you are giving the lower branches the chance to fatten up.

The only plant modification you want to avoid during flower is topping or pruning. Otherwise go nuts.

I'd like to go nuts...but the plants are so damn tall, I don't know that tying down to a lower level will increase the yield as it'll take em further away from the light.... no ?

That's impossible. Remember, not tying down the main stalk, just the branches/limbs around it.... Which is why I said it does not seem like it would increase the yield. Seems like this is something that needs to be done from the git go and continually through veg....keeping the stalk LOW

Is better to start early and keep it going till the end..Spread them out a bit and let your light hit deeper in the center of the buds.

When I can throw my plants outside, I usually try to remember to tie all my nugs down to fatty fan leaves then. I get a huuuge increase in % of light hitting 'em. They love it
