I'm not sure I like those microns. having no filter between the 160 and 73 pretty much guarantees NO bubble. There is no point in the 10 micron. Anything after 25 is pretty much just dirt. That 10 micron should be removed as useless, and replaced with something that makes more sense like a 120 or 110u.

I will have to run several batches to get it done. I am thinking as many as 8. I have read that about a 1/2 pound of dry material is about all you should run at one time. As far as micron sizes go, I wish there was a 120, but I would imagine I can find one if I feel I need it. I dont intend to use the 10 for hash. It will be for filtering the oil that I make. I want to get the really fine particles out of that stuff so I can use it for cooking. I substitute it for cooking oil in brownies and such. I have no idea what the results will be like, but there is only one way to find out. And that is to try it. If it doesnt work, all I will have wasted is the alcohol I used to process the oil.

Mine came with a 110 micron, not a 10..?

I am glad to hear that other people have had a good experience with these bags like I have, and I hope anyone who orders these bags based on this thread feel that it was well worth the money... :peace:

I contacted them and the responded very promptly apologizing saying that they would send out a new 25 right away and i could keep the old one as a spare, great service. Regardless of the string issue the quality of the bags is A++:joint:

Just to let you know. I agreed that there was a big gap between the 160 and the 73, so I called today and have a 120 bag comming to add to the system. Thanks for bringing that up. There would have been a lot of crap getting through that would reduce quality.

did the liner come off the bags yet? i realize this is an old post but my buddy's blackwater bags didnt hold up too well

Well since this threads back to life, looks like they have a 6bag set too. Ill be tryin it out, probably order next week

anyone know what's going on with sprung bags lately? I ordered a 5 bag set almost 3 weeks ago and I have not received it, and the guy is not responding to me at all. He received my payment on christmas day, and he apparently printed out a shipping label on 12/28, but never sent it out. the tracking info from usps says "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on December 28, 2011 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date." Since then I've sent him 2 emails through the direct email address [email protected] and I've also notified him through paypal, he has completely ignored all of my attempts to contact him. If I don't get the bags or an email from him soon I may have to tell paypal that he's a deadbeat and ask them for my money back. that would really suck though, i just want to get my bags so i can start making some quality hash!

the whole reason i chose sprung bags is because of threads like this one, which say the bags are high quality and the seller has great communication/customer service. I guess I am the first to find out that things have changed... hopefully he's just on vacation or something but after 3 weeks, i've pretty much reached my limit of giving him the benefit of the doubt..

just an update in case anyone is actually reading this, he finally sent me an email. said he was overseas. looks like it will work out but I will wait until after I get the bags to say whether everything is resolved and how I feel about sprung bags

heya mate, we appear to be in the same boat. my order was placed (and paid) over 2 months ago now. I had a reply email saying the orders where delayed and he should have been in contact, but anyway hed send anther set out. still nothing, got anther response blaming it on royal mail and that hed send anther set. bullshit. received nothing, no longer responding (surprisingly) either, very disappointed!! how have gotten on dude?
