Almost ready to harvest

i have one plant that has matured way faster than any of the others but i want to put them in 3 days of darknes because i heard that increases the bud size. will the others keep gorwing after i do that or should i just harvest the big one now and wait for the rest to mature and then put them in darkness? the big one already has red hairs and the buds are firm but the rest arent even close to that they are still soft and barely have thc

plants will be ready at diff times get cheap 10x-15x mag class and look at trichomes 50/50 foggy/carmel and then harv.The hairs will turn red and then pull back in to the bud,So wait till then the bud get much heavier and that happens usually right at the 50/50 point with trichomes.Hope this helps

so if its already 50/50 its too late to try the 3 days of darkness? i know when to harvest im just tryin to decide whether i should just harvest this 1 and let the rest grow and put them in darkenss because this one grew so much faster then the rst. none of the others have red hair and the buds are still small and soft
im 7 weks into flowering

i put them in darkness for up to 2 weeks before harvest feeding clearx for a week and cold water for the other week increases yeild and potency in my opinon have read about it in skunk maginize or high times not sure which.

Darkness for 2 weeks.....?

I've never heard of that. That's a long time. Long enough to kill a plant. How would depriving a plant of its source of energy increase yield? Am I missing something?

its up to 2 weeks so usally any where from 1 to 2 its hard to wait the whole 2 after already waiting so long this is after 8 weeks too. not like week 6 if thats what u thought i was saying. but yeah i put them in dark and give them a nice flush cold water,u can smell a stronger sent from that bud . then the bud that i just flush in light and cure right away. i didnt belive it untill i tryed it and its has worked great for me

its after the plant is done growing under the light so its basicaly like a pre cure and at that point if the plant is dying it is ok but u will b suprised how long they will stand striaght up as long as they get water. i am currently doing this to a nyc diesel and a judgex cygnus they r both getting very headie

yeah i know about the cold water so wait until about 8 weeks and put them in darkness? i have another thread with some pictures of my buds and someone told me i need to wait 2-3 more weeks to harvest because my buds are skinny but i didnt use anything besides sensi grow 2 part solution and a carb loader while i was flwoering

some plants take more than 8 weeks too so its basicaly whenever you harvest instead of cutting it right away flush it out and feed it cold water and darkness for up to 2 weeks. i go right around 1.5 to the full 2 becuase i also use this as my flush.its not somthing you have to do but i like the results so i kept on doing it.no matter what fresh bud should b good this will just boost it. i like it more for the increase in potentcy but it does seems to fatten up the buds too
