Purple Kush Closet Grow

Alright so this is my second grow and I have 4 Purple Kush clones that are each in 5 gallon pots.

The soil is Kellogg Patio Plus All Natural Outdoor Potting Soil mixed with about 1/3 Perlite. I am currently at day 15 since I planted the clones. I am vegging under 4 40watt fluorescent tubes and a 100watt full spectrum cfl. I will be flowering with a 400 watt hps.

I am trying lst for the first time as you can see in some of the pics below. I only have two of them tied down right now as I'm waiting for the other two to get a little taller before I tie them down. Feel free to comment/ask questions/give advice thanks guys.

Ok today I just put one more plant into lst. The other two are almost ready to tie down again. Here's some new pics.

So they are coming along quite nicely. I just put the fourth plant into lst this morning and had to tie down two of them again. Heres some more pics that I just took this morning. The last 3 pics are the same plant number 7 is before I tied it down and 8 and 9 are right after.

lookin good! are u trying lst for lack of grow space or to simply promote lower leaf growth???? and if u dont mind me asking did u get the clones from a dispensary around denver? i noticed the 303 in ur name and have been looking far and wide for a good purple kush clone.

well it is a fairly small area so i'm thinking this is how ill get the most yield from each plant. I did get them from a dispensary however i'm located in the bay area in California. I seem to see this strand at every club that has clones around here. yea the numbers in my name have no significant meaning of any sort lol.

thats a cool grow man. im interested to see how that works out for you. pk is a low yielder. i got bout 20 grams from the 1 i grew my first grow. ill be checkin this 1 out

ya im hoping to get an ounce per plant on this round. I just ordered my 400 watt hps so ill be switching them to flower soon and then i can start my next round under the fluros. Hopefully the club will have some higher yielding strains.

Here's some pics I just took today which is day 29 since i planted the clones

i really doubt u can pull an ounce off each honestly. not with a 400 and pk. idk its possible jus not likely. big book of buds says 15-30 grams. and 30 would be optimum conditions. . i pulled 20 gs off my pk when i grew 4 plants and vegged for over a month under a 400. if i was too grow it again i would top the shit out of it and veg it forever. i hope you do pull an ounce tho cause purple kush is some chron! u will be in luck

im harvesting pk right now and im going to probably pull off around 25 grams off each plant, but im using 1000 w . its some bomb tho. they are a very potent strain

ya bro looking real good. just keep veggin it. such a slow growing plant huh? im gonna give this strain another shot in a SOG. i think it will perform best that style.
