So i've got this...

hermy...
one of my DGH has gone all boyish on me...

well its not too bad, i've only found three male flowers while looking at the plants so far...

i'm wondering... should i cut my losses with it now? have myself a little "early harvest" of the one plant.... or should i let it live and maybe let my whole crop seed a bit?

ummm... help???

haha
any input would be encouraged

I had a few "balls" show up, like 5, I just pulled em off, no more have shown up since. :) Your plants are much farther along and alot bushier though.

hermy pollen bad. kill it.
yeah you think???

humm... that doesn't sound like fun...

the shittiest part is i'm gonna be in florida for the next week and will just be having my roommate watering them (following very specific directions as to what and what not to do...) and i do not trust her to search for pollin sack "balls"... she'd just stare at me blankly if i even asked... haha

so i won't be around to check it to see if it worsens...

i've only noticed these within the past, oh, four days or so?
i'm leaving tomorrow at 4 in the morning, so the decision needs to be made soon...

its been suggested to me that maybe it's environmental?
light leaks to be exact

which i know i have some small ones (a few errant staple holes in the panda plastic) but, then again, i dunno if thats the case...

fdd, if you want me to kill it just to make sure i don't get genetics mixed... don't worry, i've decided not to intentionally breed until i start flowering my next go of whatever "keepers" there are in the bunch... (beginning of next month...)... but if you mean just in generall kill the hermy... then thats another thing

i don't think this one giving me balls is gonna be one of those keepers though (it has nice bud structure on it to, with the calaxes fattening nicer than the other two dgh's, but the other two have shown no sign of hermitedness... haha... hermitedness.......)

i wouldn't breed with a hermy. bad genetics. but in general, i'd still kill it.

i'm torn...

its def. not gonna be useed for any breeding purposes...

but it would be nice to have all 6 plants finish instead of just 5...

am i being greedy?

so this is the plant that went down... HDG #1 (not that the 1 means anything to anyone besides me...)

took off the fan leaves...

heres one of the culprits... for all those looking for "bannanas" in their own buds...

got the trimmers out and ended up with these measley things

which are now hanging in a box... they'll be plenty dried by the time i get back from sunny florida... woo?

=\
