Balocfen is very specifically prescribed for muscle spacticity...I've only known it to be prescribed to MS patients however.
Just food for thought FDD..don't know if the prescribing doctor clued you in on this.

My bad...did a little reading prior to the link.
Just be careful with that stuff.
I hope you don't learn to like it. If you do end up finding it useful, you have to wean yourself off of it prior to stopping altogether.
It's been so long since I've taken the stuff.
I'm pretty sure it was because I felt just the way you described it.
And if your doctor suggests upping the dosage, be prepared to sleep---another reason I stopped taking it.
I'm pretty sure I'm better off with the trainwreck.

:peace:

my dad is prescribed baclofen, he's a paraplegic and he takes it to help with spasms and stuff (coupled with oxycocet). i take them every now and then...they dont seem to have any negative effect on me. he takes them like candy lol. sometimes like 12+ pills a day. they dont give him any negative effects either...so maybe its just not the right pill for you.

i don't really do well with any of this stuff. it all just makes me feel a little "off".

aww that sucks dude. i take them every now and then because they relax my muscles and make me a bit drowsy...its to help me sleep. but they dont make me feel weird at all.

I hate the feeling of getting drowsy in the middle of the day, when you have things to do.. or even if you don't. Like taking some flexeril or something

are flexeril the little yellow ones? i think the medical generic name for them is cyclobenzaprine...i've taken those too...my dad gets lots of meds  i liked em too.

they give my dad those for his leg spasms caused by degenerative disk disease, but he says that they dont really help..... I however take one of them occasionally for my back spasms and it seems to work better than flexeril, and without the inebriation of soma's... but somas work the best for me..... good luck with it all man... i dont really trust doctors
