its a mail order site with a load of Irish customers apparently, I'm a member. They have a nice system that gets through customs and they send lovely buds straight from amsterdam for much cheaper than Irish street prices. PM me if you want an invite code. registration opens periodically but you need a member to give you a code

Venus flytrap is a Nirvana strain it's about 60 sativa 40 indica. they say hybrid im just going on experience, cheap seeds but nice citrussy bud, fresh like grapefruit and lots of it. I turn my HPS on for the 12 coldest hours of the day i.e. 6 pm - 6 am. Thats my solution

LOL... Thats exsactly what i've been doing since 16 Jan..
I've turned down the intake & exuast fans slightly.. Thats brought the temp up to 13 'c now... has been as low as 3 'c...!!

Can you Pm me a invite code as I've none and Im sick off waiting for my home grow to finish...

I've now set the fans to come on a hour after the light comes on and a hour before the light goes off if that makes any sense..
Up to 17 'c now.. happy dayz..

Respect to Doobie, Cheers for that buddy.
Even went and bought.. "Listen to the music" on I-tunes...:clap:

They look alot smaller than they actually are Jay , 3 plants in 3-4 liter pots and 1 plant in a 5-6 liter pot approx. They were never transplanted been in them since day1. No nutes as of yet cause im using plagron bat guano enriched soil. There after getting very thirsty in the last few days so i might chance a bloom nute early next week.:bigjoint:

The very first grow I made the mistake of not spotting a male in time and now have hundreds of seeds, was gutted pulling the seeds out as there was much bud left to smoke..:spew:

It was a classic case of not doing my home wrok and just planting.. Didn't help that I left my light on 24/0 for 2 weeks solid whilst I headed to spain..
Fuckers ended up 6ft tall with a 250w bulb...!!
I look back now and see how many things I was doing wrong... poor plants..!!
Least they give a hundreds of chances to rectify it all..

Right off to poxie work.. :cry:

Not a clue really..
We were with ESB and I did see the bill jump up a bit, Not only is it 250w for the lamp, but more watts for the fans, the veg room lights, the heat cable.. I'm probably using 320w at the moment.
However I changed to Airtricty and the bill is the same each month.. I have a funny feeling they'll be reviewing it soon.. Certainly when I get another 250w lamp on the go..

Ya lads whats your usual electricity bill since having kights and the rest?.

Mine was about 110 per 2 months, thats wit 2 ppl, 2 laptops goin 24/7, and about 600w of cfl's. I dint realise how much watage of cfl i was using until i typed it.

Just added a 400w hps and another 125 cfl, both on 18/6 for now, so it should be intreasting to see the jump in the bill

Its not to bad if you do all your vegging under cfl in one room and then just have you hid on for 12/12 in another flowering..
Thats what I'm doing now..

how many watts of CFL would i need for a 1m² veg area?
Edit: Oh and do CFLs require a ballast and reflector or are they just plug n play?

plug n play, (internal balllast) refloctor optional/prefrence, for a meter sq id say around 200watts~4-5 plants? thats off the top of my head tho...

Hi lads my white dwarfs auto's are 25 days old now and are coming along nicely. I want to ask ye if the colour the fan leaves are turning is normal ? It seems a bit early for them to start dying off. Im using no nutes cause im using good soil with 6 weeks feed in it ( Bat guano ) First 2 pics of them flowering and 3rd pic shows the leaves im worried about. 4th is the colour ot the stems of the fan leaves turning a purple colour. Any feedback welcome to help me trough my first grow :joint:
