Everybody that downloads movies should stop and go see them in theaters! I am a huge fan of downloading shit on the internet, music, tv, games and what have you, but movies are a no no. Box off number are down SO much. I know it seems silly but seriously. Some people make their living working in the movie industry and even though it seems like stealing movies doesn't directly hurt anybody there is a ripple effect.

Besides seeing a movie on a big srceen with awesome sound is how movies are ment to be seen, not on computer.

Sorry for the little lecture, but hey, I need to make a living damn it!

This is true about the music industry as well, I am hypocritical about such things I know...

I do the same, if music is good I will go buy the album. But typically I only download things I can't find in stores.

Again sorry or the radom post. I just had to say it because it effects me...

I've got a projector, that I hook up to my computer along with a 200 watt amp and 2 50 watt jbl's and 2 100 watt pioneers. It sounds better in my house than in the theater. although the projector has it's quality limitations, I'd still rather watch it on there in the comfort of my own home.
as for downloading pirated movies... I'm all for people making money off of it, I'm just not up for paying for it if I don't have to.
these people won't suffer for anything anyway. I wouldn't steal from a corner store,
but I'll rip walmart off just about every time i'm there.

what kind of music do you listen too??? I find myself to be one of few who actually can't find shit In a place like tower records. Luckily, there are quite a few independent record stores in the area.

Right on Quadrophine. It's nice to have a good set up at home but it still isn't anywhere as good as going to see a movie at a nice theater like the Arclight or any of the good theaters in LA, the picture quailty is amazing and the sound... the sound blows you away.

As for music I listen to some of everything, a little electronic (Daft Punk, Groove Armada, Annie, Röyksopp, Gorillaz) some hip hop/rap (Deltron, Common, Oukast, Wu-Tang Clan, Atmosphere, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Tech N9ne, Danger Mouse And Jemini) and other random things (Prince, The Servant, The Postal Service, Michael Jackson, Peeping Tom, The Sounds, Brazilian music such as Gil & Jorge)

Prolly more but that's all I got off the top of my head.

I just saw a very long special preview for I AM LEGEND....

I was very excited to see the movie buuuuuuutttt

It turns out the zombie like creatures along with certain species of animals are all 100% animated....and they look realllllly really fake. I still want to see it but im not as excited anymore....

everyone seen it yet? i just watched it online a few nights ago. i really enjoyed it. i'm not a big will smith fan so it was more than what i expected. there were 1 or 2 parts i would have changed but all in all i liked it.

I ended up seeing it, I found it entertaining for sure, but it was not anything like the book, the book focused more on the main characters day to day struggle to survive and stay sane. The so called zombies were a dissappointment, in the book they can think, they torture the poor guy and that added the real tension in the story. Honest opinion, it was a rip of the new craze zombie movies, being a fan of the book i was a little baffled as the 2 have nothing to do with one another ( the book and the movie). But like I said I found it entertaining....also if you like to read the book is excellent

heres my very short review.
(I was incredibly stoned and had to sit pretty close which I think made it extra intense)

I saw this movie with pretty low expectations and It turned out to be a big and pretty nice suprise.

I enjoyed the movie. I really liked how they added the scientific and emotional aspects it was interesting and without them it would have made for a lame movie. A lot of other films in this genre don't really go into the mind of a man in his position but this film does and I think it was just the right amount because too much of that would not have been a good thing.
Action was decent especially the explosions they were pretty intense. The ending was not what I expected but I wouldnt say it was bad and it felt a little short but other than that the movie kept me very entertained and went along at a good pace. I feel that Will Smith did an excellent job acting out this character, and his emotions were definitely believable.

man i am watching some new movies online. started to watch i am legend. the first 30 minutes was good so far. i have not read the book but i had said earlier that this movie took elements from 28 days later and someone said it was the other way around but i disagree. gygax stated movies these days take a popular theme from recent movies and make that a more prominent part of the movie and i agree. so maybe less like the book and more zombie action thriller stuff. more zombies and less character development on will smith and being the last man alive. i just watched 30 days of night, and a weed growing grannies metal halide helped out haha.
