What size pot are you in now? I hope it is a min of 5 gallon.

That plant is looking hella good if it is in a 5 gallon pot and feed right I would hope you get min of 3 oz dry from her.

Keep up the good work, and nice grow, leave all the leaves on her even if they look sick, wait until they fall of then remove them. Leaves make buds bigger and fuller.

And one day we can all grow this size buds. This was a friends grow not mine he lives in OR.

How long did it take for your widow to show sex?

not long at all! I bought feminized tho, so I was pretty sure it was gonna be female.. but once I switched my lights to 12-12.. I notice white hairs only after 5 nights. That usually doesn't happen tho, not that fast anywayz. Usually you can see the sex 2 weeks after you switch the lights to 12-12. Thats how long it took for my last plants, about 2 weeks.

lol. Thanks man.. It's fucking rediculous how fast she's growing.. I feel like its dumb to post pics up every 2 days... but theres so much growth over 2 days, I feel like I need to. lol. I was looking at all my pics today.. adn the plant like doubles in size each week.. its crazy!!

Are the yellow spots bud sites? Can you check out my grow and maybe give me some advice on my widows?

Yeaaa.. the yellowish spots are bud sites.. theres a SHITLOAD of them ALL over my plant. lol. But yeaa. thats usually an easy way to tell..

Ehh... Sadly the pot is only like 4 gallons. =-/ I cant seems to find any that are bigger around here.. it's only been 1 week into 12-12.. I was thinkin that 4 gallons would be fine, since I only vegged it for 3 weeks from seed.. but at the rate its growing... I'm starting to get worried... I might keep looking, or maybe order one online. I think if i can transokant it within the next week, I'll be good.. but if I wait any longer, it might be too late. Roots are already showing through the bottom.. and Its only the 1st week of 12-12.

Thanks for the compliment.. and as far as feeding her, I'm feeding her right, Just moved up to full strength nutes, well, I havent given it to her yet.. next watering I will. I would be happy as shit if I get 3 ounces dry.. I'm hoping for 1 1/2 ounces.. I'd be happy with that.. but deff be MUCH happier with 3.. lol

And yea tight now all the leaves are really healthy. I'm happy about that. My last grow I had a lot of yellowing leaves by this stage.. but this plants very very healthy.. There are a couple BIG fan leaves gettin in the way and covering up some of the budsites, preventing them to get any light.. but I dont wanna cut'em off.. i've just been kinda tucking them under other leaves. I've always wondered if it's the leaves that makes the buds bigger.. or just the light on the buds themselves??

And I would LOVE to grow a bud that size!!!!! I will attempt to.. lmao.. but doubt I will come close. I'll be happy with a bud the size of a water bottle. lol.

They are looking real nice dude! When I grow traditionally I vegg for 5-6 weeks or to about 12 inches tall, then switch to 12/12. I have grown 3 foot plants before in a 3 gallon pot so you should be ok with what your in. After about the second week of 12/12 the roots growth slows down dramatically, and all the plants energy is then put into flowering.

Its amazing how much alike our plants look. And we have different strains. Here is a pic, just over 5 weeks old. The two plants in the pic will be my mother plants, one Aurora Indica and one Papaya. And as I said before both already have pistils on them, and they never even been in a 12/12.

lol. yeaaa. they do look pretty alike. if they're already showing pistins.. then they should be ready for flowering.... or are those ur mother plants?? If u were to flower them.. bet you'd get a nice yield from them!! Cant wait till mine starts forming actual buds.. then all my hard work will feel like its starting to pay off! lol. I saw a few more white hairs today too.. They're coming out now. =)

Hey man great grow.

So, you like the MG moisture control soil? Have you noticed you dont have to water as often as other soils?

Im just curious, as i was going to try it out or maybe just their regular potting soil.

I was alittle leary using the moisture control on my first grow, being you can over water the plant very easy., and i really didnt know shit about crowing.

Anyways, your WW looks insane! I cant believe how big it was at like 11 days old.

You think its the genetics? Or the damn soil? Ive never had a plant at 11 days old look like that. Usually looks like a weak sprout still....lol

Id give you a +rep or whatever, but i dont even know how or what all that shit is!!lol

I like the Miracle Grow Moisture Control.. It seems to work great for me. I would deff recommend it to you.. I know a few other people who use it and have good results with it... I still have to water it every 3-4 days... but it seems like it doesnt "run-off" as much when I water. idk. I like it. lol

And as far as the plant goes.. well right now.. as of today, its on Day 30 from seed. but its still HUGE for 30 days old.. I look at other peoples journals.. and their 30 day old plant is like 1/2 the seze of mine. lol. I think it's genetics.. but I do think the soil helps.. a lot. My VERY 1st grow I used Schultz All purpose soil to grow.. the plants didnt come out too bad.. but the next grow.. I used MG: Moisture COntrols.. adn they grew twice as fast.. and looked Wayyyyyy healthier.. adn they were from the same seeds.. soo i think the soil did help.

Also.. one other thing that is hellping a lot is the lights.. i got A LOT of CFL's all around my plant.. and the more lights.. the more buds and better/faster it grows.. just remember that and you'll be all set!

LOL yea wish I could flower them. I've been seriously considering it. They are supposed to be my mother plants. I bet I would get a nice yield. I was thinking maybe cut a few more clones off of her and then flower them both, so I don't have to buy any more seeds. Yea I was very surprised to see pistils on the Aurora Indica after only 4 weeks of vegg. I think it might be because I moved them from under my 400 watt MH light to under CFL's. Just a theory.

I noticed I have a slight mutation too.. its kinda cool. I'll try to get a pic of it up tomorow.. but on of the budsites on the side branches is double the size.. ummm.. its gonna be hard to describe it... but I'll do my best, and hsow u the pic 2morow. but basically.. where the buds usually start.. you know how there always the 2 leaves that are directly across from eachother..? kinda like if there were the leaves >o< and pretend the o is the bud site...... well.. this it has 2 leaves on each side.. and so the bud site in double in size too.. if that makes sense.. I'll try to make another pic describing it...

Sooo i figured i'd try a different way of germinating a seed.. soo i got a small cup of water.. and dropped the seed in there this morning... it was floating for a while.. but about 20 min. ago it sank.. i think im supposed to leave it in there for like 24 hours.. and THEN plant it.. i'll double check b4 I leave tonight.. but I'm gonna give this a shot. see if it works. and just grow this plant as an experiment almost.. I'm gonna top it or FIM it.. practice taking clones off it too.. and just learn from it. lol.

Any day now! It usually takes about a week for the males to show a little longer for females. That has been my experience!

Heyy watsup man?? Yeaa. mine did show at 5 days.. but that's not common.. from what I've hearf anyways.. I think it might just be cuz I have alotta lights, or the length I vegged it for, cuz you can keep your lights on 18-6 or 20-4 or w.e.. and everntually ur plants will show pre-flowers.. wether it be white hairs or balls... but I would give it about another week... I know.. its a while to wait.. but my last 2 grows took 2 weeks to show.. my very 1st grow took about 2 1/2 weeks to be exact! I was VERY impatient. lol

But this is the 1st time I've had plants show this quickly.. but usually.. by 2 weeks, you will see some white hairs man.. just be patient. even tho i cant really say anything.. i'm one of the most impatient people alive! lol. they will show soon. My mystery seed still hasnt shown yet.. and its been 9 days.. i checked her today and nothing.. but i think she will show within the next 4-5 days..

Ok.... I know I "attempted" to describe the leaf and bud situation.. lol. but i think I dod a bad job describing it.. now.. if you have grown before.. which most of you have.. lol.. you know what your plant looks like right when it's about to start budding.. you got the 2 baby leaves directly across from eachother.. and the bud finally starting to form in the middle... well thats basically where mine are... except.. instead of 2 baby leaves.. I've got 4..

It's kinda funky looking.. and im wondering if the bud is gonna grow normal... or if its gonna be wxtra big.. or deformed at all... i took a couple pics. tell me if you guys can see what I'm talkin about.. I took a pic of a normal lookin bud site as well so you can compare. i got 2 close-ups of the deforemd budsite.. adn one pic of a normal one.. tell me what you think....
