That was my first LED grow..My lights were sunshine system glow panel 45's. I had 2 at 160.00 each. this was sufficient for my 4 little plants. I now run 2 ufo's and the 2 45's for side lighting for my 2nd grow, as these 4 new plants are about 4 ft tall. My new ufo's are from prosource world wide. they were 350.00 each. got pics on my profile in my album.

just sounds like a LOT of money to buy something that doesnt work nearly as well as a HID, I really dont see the appeal, and you got 2 zips per plant or from 4? cause I spent $140 on my 400 watt and pulled 2 per plant.. and with led you have to have a space heater so it doesnt get too cold.. plus those things arent bright enough to produce nice dense buds.

me too. but the effect the light was giving off into the camera was kinda cool.
that would be the only reason i would purchase that light.

i would use it as a way to mask things. like my face in videos instead of rendering that blurry face thing.

I know there was a guy on here that was given some leds by a company for a comparison grow. Can't remember his name someone help me out. Seemed like a real cool guy, want to say he's a cali med grower and he blocked out his face with like some scooby doo cartoon photoshop. Bet we could a nice unbiased opinion from him and he definitely had some good grows.

2 zips per plant..plus the added cost to my electricity bill was only 16 bucks for the whole grow. Plus no heat. no heat stress. no ballest. Also I was better able to control Co2 use because It wasnt being sucked up through a vent fan. I will never go back to hps for indoor growing...
