OK! I have now seen some evidence that LED's can produce. How is the light drop addressed though? LED's lose light potential after 30-50 thousand hours. They slowly get dimmer (See earlier post with link), so how do the LED manufacturers address this? I have to be a skeptic b***h, cuz these things aren't cheap...Here is an LED grow - looks real and looks good!

thats what im saying, lmao, I know how much weight they pack on and there is no way possible that is 2 ozs.. sorry.. and to me, that shit looks very close to done.. all pistils are reseeded from what I can see.. definetley doesnt look like 6 weeks to me.. honestly, id be surprised if that was 1 oz
If that pic was at 6 weeks, there is no way it packed on enough extra weight to produce 2 ounces. Anyone that actually grows pot knows that. So if you are claiming you pulled 2 zips from that sad little plant, then you sir are a bald faced LIAR.
Show of hands for anyone that believes that this plant at 6 weeks somehow miraculously doubled or more it's weight after the picture was taken to produce 2 ounces??
This is why people get so upset with the LED advocates. They have to use lies and halftruths to convince people to use their hard earned money on these novelty lights.
hahaha, no need to be rude but ya thats my point exactly.. its an advertisement in disguise of an article and some ppl fall for itI bet you believed it when the cigarette companies hired a crack team of scientists and they proved that cigarettes were actually GOOD for you!
Have you ever taken so much as a college freshman level science course? Cause the nonsense you keep spewing wouldn't hold up in my ninth grade biology class.
Congratulations, you might possibly be the dumbest poster on a message board that is apparently filled with a bunch of high school dropouts and wiggers.
Good post"True or not, LEDS are EXPENSIVE!!!"
True and False I would say. TRUE LED's are more expensive at the start when you buy just one, but with GrowlLED I know for a fact if ya buy in bulk the costs reduce substantially, however after about 6 months of getting a $100 electric bill, comparing to the cost of what you would pay for an HID light and hood and ballast AS WELL AS RUNNING IT FOR 6 MONTHS, you see that an LED is actually a sound investment and inexpensive in the LONG RUN, not to mention, after you put up the initial duckets, your LED light will function without degradation for 3 -5 years, as opposed to HPS that will diminish after several harvests requiring replacement sooner than later.
LED people need to get off of the my 90watt is equal to your 600watt, no 90watt is 90watt and 600watt is 600watt, I truly run 750watt of LED I don't claim to have what the site would claim as 3500watt, no, it's 750watt from the wall, but all in all, as an LED grower, I don't see a need for hate or rivalry between any kind of grower, we are all in the same boat, its all good as long as ya have dank green its all good to me, toke up.
$20,000 +this is all fine and dandy if you want 2 ounces. but can i do this with LED's? ... View attachment 728818
seriously? and at what cost?
C'mon now be nice... Douches? Aint cool bro.Well, when there is a an actual documented LED grow that produces .8g/watt then the original post has a valid point, but since that isn't happening, it's just typical internet speculation with a healthy dose of mudslinging. I mean I could come up with hypotheticals all day long and make retarded new threads that will waste everyone's time, but what's the point?
I heard that if you water your plants with Unicorn tears you can flower under a 23w CFL and get yields of 5g/watt. When you factor in the cost of Unicorn tears at $20/gal and consider all the money you are saving on nutrients, lighting, and fans, then clearly, Unicorn tears is the best way to grow mj. WHY THE FUCK AREN'T MORE PEOPLE GROWING WITH UNICORN TEARS???!!?!?!?
See what i did there? Until you LED douches actually offer up some actual empirical data that backs up your wild ass claims, then STFU and quit clogging up the website with more retarded, speculative threads.
That was AWESOME!!! Love it...funny one..
ugh, you should have kept that one to yourself.Don't think I'll ever grow with leds. If led's were all that, then why in the photo I attached below shows 1 led panel in a greenhouse to make it look like it's lighting up over the plants doing it's job growing but when I look closely in the background, all the lights are HID's. Just goes to show that even people who sell them prefer HPS or it may be a photo that a sneaky salesmen of led's brought to a greenhouse & asked them to please put this up in your greenhouse & give it a try & see if you like it all while knowing in the back of his head he is doing this so he can take a photo of it up in a greenhouse turned on so he will have a photo to push his products on the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if that were true & then 1-2 weeks later the owners of the greenhouse gave it back to the salesman & said for our application the led''s don't work & we'll just stick with our HPS lights. The salesman then probably said ok no problem, took the light & left but feels pleased he was able to pull off this scam & think it was well worth his time because he got that photo to push the product on the internet. Look at some of the photos people who advertise led's with. Most of those small house plants under the led's look like they were bought just to be used in photos for consumers to think that led's grow lush plants all on their own. Fuck led's !!
