Certain religions ever get into this, Hinduism is about the only other one that I can think of at this time.

Yeah, I've read Castanedos, interesting stuff. I've been at the end of the silver cord a few times, almost cut it loose once, the closest I've come to killing myself. If you cut it loose you die, correction, your body dies and you stay in the spirit world. At the time I was young and thought I needed to come back and finish my destiny. If it happened now @ 65, I might let it go and see what happens. The spirit is beckoning you the entire time to come over, very subtle but present nontheless. You'll notice that Don Juan never let go of the silver cord. The last time I was that far into the spirit, I ran accross a river without getting my feet wet, about a 60 ft wide river, actually had a witness to this and you should have seen the look on her face!

Yeah I do remember reading about the silver cord, I think that was Don Juan's tentacle to reality.

If you notice that also during those sessions with Don Juan that those same silver cords were used to defy gravity and to move from place to place.
It's kind of like the same concept as Chi in Buddhism.

Well dank my man, I can tell you from being there that you physically do move from place to place and gravity is conquered, in fact you can achieve superman powers of flight, That is a real kick. I'd like to share these experiences with people but Without documentation, they would only be the ramblings of an old stoner, and who knows, maybe it was in the mind, however I've done some physical things that can't be denied.
