yes eventually they do grow into the water and you dont need bubbles cause the roots above those are drawing up air needed , but you could add bubbles if you wanted personally wouldn't do it thou seems a little more hassle than its worth

actually i think it would help ALOT more than u think mike. O2 EVERYwhere in a hydro system will improve over all plant help GUARANTEED.

Wouldn't be a waste of time if it increase yield.. Shit a fish air pump is $10 If you have 2 runnin side by side you should experiment..
