I tried that once with 2 bag seed plants many years ago. I cut all the ridges of the outer part of the leaf, an cut he middle finger out of each leaf. So that each fan leaf had 2 leafs an a space an 2 more leafs.
It was very slow growing an i lost alot of leafs. It didnt make it to flower. Died a very slow death lol. But I think it was the outdoor heat that killed it. Indoor may work better.
But I did see that green house seed s has a plant that looks verry little like weed in the newest High Times. Its called "DR GRINSPOON". U got to see it to believe it. Check it out..

how do you plan on disguising the smell. you should just forget about growing if you are going to grow it in the open and expect people not to figure it out.

to flower it i have like a space behind my bed where i keep a shit load of blankets. i set up a flowering box and hook up the light.( i dont feel like puttin it back there till it srt gettin obvious) also im not letting it grow that big, i know how it doubles when you flower but im not letting get even 2 ft tall. im just trying this out , shit one blunt and sum new expierences is good enuff for my fisrt grow in my eyes. BUT STILL ALL REST ON IF ITS EVEN A FEMALE lol im goin for the jane not the bob
Trim all you like, but people are not that dumb - - - on your desk? Unless your a south american botanist that has all kinds of exotics growing around you won't pull this off. Put it in your grow area before you have to kill it when someone says, "Hey man, can I have a bud when its done?"

oh have y'all read about the aussie bastard cannabis plant? it was in a cannabis culture article!!!! the leaves look nothing like mj leaves!!!!! I believe it was more ruderalis than indica/sativa...but a good read neve the less

you guys i appreciate all the advice about how it might not work. but i only got one life and im a go for it if im caught im caught. if it doesnt work out and it gets fucked up then fine. but its not like im using any money other then some dollrs from a light bill of one bulb, everything else i used was around the house, its already growing and bout to be on its third node, and i would regret tossin it just cause the odds are against me.

we're not saying to toss yer plant... but there are other ways to do this, without anyone knowing about it... unless you open your mouth. try a pc grow or a small cab.

Just imagine it this way.
The leaves on a plant are like solar panels, they not only absorb light and convert it to energy. But they also feed the very thing your wanting from your plant. BUDS that's why the fan leaves turn yellow late in flowering, the buds have sucked all the nutrients out of them But they also help the plant to rid itself of the toxins that the plant builds up converting the nnutes to energy
