Believe me I have typed SeeMoreBuds name in dozens of posts. I own two copies and as soon as he gets caught up so he can let us know how to go about it I will be ordering all of the books and the cd's. I try to keep a book or so here, otherwise I like to see them being used. I told you I'm dangerous with ideas. VV

You can check my journal if you like, you know how old people are, I posted it in the wrong place. Its in Grow Room Setup and Design: My current setup: Journal. It's pretty basic. I have 20 plants that have been flowering for 10 weeks, 20 that have been flowerin for 6 weeks and 21 that have been flowering for two weeks along with 30 or so vegging clones. We do have some good discussions in there, lots of errors I made are explained. Hsf's journal is in the right spot, she is a lot younger than I and understands how these things are supposed to work. VV

dang how long can you let your plants flower, and why do you let them flower for so? do you get more bud or what?

He flowers them till they're actually mature enough to harvest.. :blsmoke: Different strains take different amounts of time to flower, but 8-10 weeks is pretty basic.

I went ten weeks with mine. I hope these ak's turn out to finish as early as they say. They are doing great for their age. Only at day 4 so not much to report. Best thing is the air temp in my room is a perfect 74-76 degrees. I have two more lamps to add when they get a bit bigger. That shouldn't affect the temp much. I went from 5 to 10 and it only went up 1 degree. I have most of the kinks worked out of the lighting rig. Plenty of light and lots of adjustability. Let's hope for a high female ratio.

Be sure to do the research so you are ready to clone in about three weeks. There is a tutorial in SeeMores book. Thats all another thread. I think widowmaker had a thread were he included cloning, or maybe it was potroast. I think they do like 300 a month, I do 15. lol VV

Unfortunately I have never cloned. I have done more than enough research. Probably too much. Kind of one of those deals where you have seen it done and read up but it is just time to shit or get off the pot. I don't really have a good seperate space to clone in as far as lighting goes but I have a place that will work. I planned to do it just like seemore does in the book. I will use a dome and give her a shot. I have rooting hormone and rockwool plugs that are slit so I can just open the plug and lay in the stem. I Will put them in a dome and hope for the best.

its easy to get 15lbs every in less time than 80 days using high plant numbers SOG - AKA- "sea of green" technique.

anyone can do it its not hard if you can grow 1 plant you can grow 100s exactly the same. my very 1st ever sea of green grow i hit 750grams for every 600watt light i used. that is 1.5k.g or 1500grams per 1200watts of electricity used. one 600watt lamp every square meter

a few good yielding mothers that are the same make up or clones are needed grow these to get x amount of clones that you will need to fill you space

plant 1 plant every 6inches any more or any less you yield will diminish. 1 plant every 6 inches it the best plant spacing for maximum yield 36 plants will fit under a 600watt lamp do the math your self to work out the amount of light and area needed to pull 16lbs.

take as many cuttings as you need + 10-20% more to make sure that you fill every 6inches of your grow area because not every clone will root. once you root all the cuttings plant them up in 6inch plant pots and veg them for 7-10 days (all depends on the growth of the plant) once they start to grow fast you want to hit them in to flower. then as they grow watch for side growth growing in to the other plants you want to cut this off has and when it grows in to its neighbor.

4 reasons for cutting the lower stuff off, it will not grow any worth while bud and it will give the plants more light and air because planting at these numbers you are likely to get mold if air does not move around freely and when you cut of the side shoots more energy goes in to the flowering top resulting in much fatter tops.

in 8 weeks time you will be cutting down plants that are 18-36 inches tall with anything from 1/2 - 2oz per plant depending on the plant if you have a good yielding plant you will pass the gram per watt easy.

do some research on "sea of green" there is plenty of real good info for free on forums! save your self some money growing weed should be fun and rewarding and you should not pay for info that is freely available on the net.

p.s i have not seen the DVD but i bet a £ to a pinch of shit its sea of green style hes growing.

if you like your freedom and cant do the time if you get busted then DO NOT attempt sea of green you will end up in jail because of the plant numbers involved
