Are you growing anything right now DST? If so link me up! I might start a second grow while these ladies flower...the cold winters up here in Eastern Canada make it easy as hell to cool my grow room down. I'm not sure if I'll be able to grow come spring/summer unless I buy an AC.

How was the LA WOMAN to smoke? I havent tried it before, I've been relying on smoke reports to keep me hyped!
Im starting my Flush in 2 days, then harvesting Monday of next week...I think I'll leave the lights off on Sunday, then Harvest when the lights would usually come on Monday Morning.
My Yield is going to be great! I have about 10 Large swollen Colas that are DRIPPING with resin and smelling amazingggggg! The whole main stem is covered in bud..all the way to the base!
I increased my dose of KoolBloom to 1/2 tsp per Gallon over the pased week or so, and it has really helped. It could be that Im in week 9 of flower and the plants are at that point, but I like to think that the KoolBloom helped
So...just to make sure I have this right (this is my first grow and its looking GREAT so far - I dont wanna fuck things up this late in the game):
- Flush with PH'd Water for 2-3 days (hydro remember, not soil)
-On Third day of Flush, leave lights off for full day
-Harvest the next morning before lights would usually come on
-Trim and hang buds in my tent with Fan on (not pointing towards the buds). Leave lights off at all times. Also leave vent system on (Vortex fan & Filter)
-Leave in tent for ___before taking the buds off the stems and curing?

The LA Woman I smoked was a real energetic and very clear high, wouldn't recommend smoking it before going to bed!!! I felt like I was a still lake inside, with my outside being like a gentle ripple against the shores....it was covered in amber trichs, yet didn't give a couch lock at all, it was real nice, although I didn't quite get me as smashed as the Martian Mean Green of old.NICE VID dude! What you said abovew seems about right to me. I darken for 48 hours, but not suire if an extrea 24 makes a difference, some pople do it for 3 days, I even remember someone saying they done it for a whole weel.
I hang dry mine for around 5 days, then take down, cut from main stems and then finish the drying in a bag over a few days, starting off with the bag wide open, then slowly closing it each day. Then into jars....
Good luck, exciting times ahead bru (and don't forget to snip a bud off a week before) just to have a smoke it it will trimming....

This is my first grow, and wow did I under estimate the lonnggg, painful, sticky, uncomfortable art of trimming. yes - art of trimming
I cut down the ladies after 9 weeks of flowering and WOW - lottts of big stinky sticky buds! Im guessing these will SHRINK right? I know they decrease by about 75% in weight...but do they "shrink" that much to the naked eye?
They all came out well with the most bud coming from the Lemon Skunk, followed by LA Woman, Himalayan Gold, then SuperLemon Haze. The smell from the Super Lemon Haze and Lemon Skunk IS UNREAL! Its COVERED in resin...if you touch it for a second your hand is sticky until washed heavily with soap.
I left my good camera and Video Camera at the office, so I'll have to take better pics and video tomrow. For now a took a pic of HALF of the harvest which is hanging in my tent. The other half is on the ground spread out for the night .I kinda ran out of string lol

ohh man you said it. My hands cramped up baaaad! I also broke a pair of scissors. I had soo much sticky resin build up I couldnt open the scissors haha. I opened them in the middle of snipping of some buds for curing and broke the thumb handle right off.
My buds were crispy as fuck after 5 days of drying. I had temps between 68-75, Humidity around 45-55%...a fan going inside the grow tent (facing the wall - not the buds) and my AirFilter + Exhaust system running. I added some mosit paper towel to their curing jars, and by the first "burp" they were a tiny bit mosiy..so I removed the paper towels.
I have been burping every 6.5-8 hours through out day to make sure the little bit of moisture doesnt start to settle on the buds and cause mold. I've been watching them closely.
Total Weight (done right after drying before they were put into jars) smallest to largest yield
Himalayan Gold - 46 grams
LA Woman - 58 grams
Super Lemon Haze - 66 grams
Lemon Skunk - 85 grams
I took the smallest popcorn buds from the plants and added them to my shake for hash making. They're not included in this total weight.
I've only tried the Lemon Skunk and Super Lemon Haze so far.
The first time I tried Lemon Skunk (right after harvest) it was ROUGH. It had a terrible smell and I had soo much trouble trying to get it to light up - I probably smoked more lighter fluid then weed. I smoked some last night and it was MUCH better! The smell wasnt as bad, and I could finally start to smell the lemon as I did during the last 3 weeks of flower.
I tried the Super Lemon Haze this afternoon and went to play football with some buddys up at the field. I was blitzed the whole time with no crash! mann! The bud was harsh as HELL and burnt my lungs up a bit - but i expected that going in.
First Grow - A success!

WOW - I have updated numbers. I went out and bought more jars, so I finished cutting down my buds.
Total Numbers:
Lemon Skunk (in green jars): 218 grams
Super Lemon Haze (blue and red jars): 168 grams
Himalayan Gold (Green Jar with duct tape on lid): 84 grams
LA Woman (white jar + Paper bag): 41 grams
TOTAL: 511 grams (4 plants)
Not too shabby, pic below

Thanks for checking out my thread. You joined because of this thread? Well good call, this site tought me EVERYTHING I needed to grow. I joined about 7 months ago and knew NOTHING about growing...6months later I have 511 grams lol.
The rainforrest is a solid system dude, it has everything you need...minus an airstone or two (you can get them at the local pet store or hydro store). Make sure to grow Feminized Seeds if growing multiple medium to large size plants in the RF. If you end of having a MALE or two and need to cut them down and seperate them from your ladies, you'll have a VERY rough time getting it out of the rainforrest. The RF has a spinning "Vortex Sprayer" in its res that realllly gets the roots tangled together. It makes for near impossible plant removal.
Also look out for a few light leaks in the top of the res. You want to make sure you dont let the water in the res see ANY light to avoid root rot. To make sure there is 100% darkness in your res - put mylar or even duct tape over the few small air holes on the top cover of the RF unit.
The RainForrest is quite easy to empty or do a water change with. It has a hose at the bottom that makes for easy water removal.

The SuperLemonHaze is fucking INCREDIBLE! The first week or so after drying was a bit harsh and lacking flavor..but NOW It has a smooth citrus taste with a strong lemon smell while smoking!
Everyone else who's tried it (friends) are HOOKED.
I'll post some bud pics later today!
