...and totally fake. Everything posted in this thread by myself or anyone else is found on google. I do not nor does anyone I know grow or smoke cannabis, no matter what text or images in this thread may otherwise suggest. These images have been edited for the purpose of bragging.

The Basics:

Strains:
2x Northern Lights
1x Daddys Girl
1x Double Gum (Soil/perlite)
1x Free Haze

Setup:
4x 50l pots with cotton potsox
4cm layer of hydroton(clay ball) then pot filled with perlite.
Drip rings on top of the perlite.
Pot sox pulled in to retain humidity.

At the moment we have 1x 400w HPS over the plants, they still have their cotyledons and we are still working on the ventilation for the 1000w.

We have a reservoir and slightly raised pots. The feed is pumped to the drip rings and gravity/weight of the water returns to the reservoir.

We will be performing weekly flushings and updates. We have EC/Ph meters, we are using dutch masters nutes, hygrozyme, and we will be looking into other additives later, the plants are still on plain phed water for now.

This is my first hydro grow, although Ive read plenty of journals! you know who you are . My last grow was in soil/perlite mix and all went fairly smooth with a definite product at the end! The growth is fanatic in hydro though, I cant believe my eyes when we walk in.

This is the feed/return system. We had no internet access at grow site so we figured out how it worked ourselves.




The final image is of the digital timer for the feed pump. This allows up to 12 on/off cycles a day. The power board pictured will be running the pumps, and fans.

We are feeding 4 times a day, for 10 minutes each time and will adjust as needed.

The lights are on for 16 hours a day at present.

Thanks man! This is my first hydro grow, my last grow the light was on a timer but I did the rest by hand. This setup will be fully automated, we will go in once a week and do what we need to do. There is someone checking in daily, but not adjusting unless needed.

Lol yep, We will be going perpetual too, taking clones when needed and setting them up under 400w. Or so the plan goes.

This is still a grow thats being upgraded. The pump/pot/feed and drain systems are all fully there, just we need a hps globe and adequate ventilation. Im thinking cooltube/vented reflector but havent made my mind up 100% yet. Alternative is moving a lot of air lol.

Anyways enjoy the pics, remember each set of pics so far is one week apart. My soil plants never grew so fast. We just added nutes, and will go check on them in a few days.

Hey thanks! Basically yes, but we chose to have an external reservoir lower than the bottom of the pots, and drain into that and pump from that! We thought of outdor hydro, having the pump in the bottom pot and using that as the res, running a solar pump and battery operated timer..you could do outdoor hydro like that we think. All the benefits of soil-less media and all the benefits of the sun.

FTR:
PH is set to 5.6 in the res.
EC is 42 after ph adjust, nutes, and additives.
