38 drops of PH up! Is that normal/bad?

Mixed up 1 tsp of tiger bloom and .5 tsp of grow big and im trying to get my ph to 6.6. It's taking 38 drops which seems excessive. Too much of that ph up shit cant be good for my girls im thinking. Could be wrong.

I have a good meter and its calibrated. My tap water is reading what it usually does. I think the issue is that im using so much nutes coupled with my water being a little hard. I have some cheap testers laying around somewhere. Might try those jic.

tap water ph is 7.25


-6.2 after adding 1 tsp of tiger bloom and .5 tsp of grow big. I filled up 2 gallon jugs and both took 38 drops of general hydro ph up to get to 6.6.
