You guys are retarded. I'm not talking from the p.o.v. of Liberals. I'm talking from the p.o.v. of the average black person. That's what the overwhelmingy majority of black people think (K maybe not 90%, but the majority). They know the Republican party doesn't give a shit about them. The Dem's don't either, don't get me wrong, but their better than Republicans about it. And yes, Vi, people from the ghetto don't think highly of the Republican party. You don't believe me? Check their voting records. Maybe not the millionaire black people you party with, in which your the only white person invited. But, the majority of middle class and poor black people know this to be the truth. Republicans don't give a fuck about the poor or minorities. That's why you don't find many poor minority Republicans. Again, I don't know how you can argue this, check their voting records.
Haha race pimps...that's funny as hell. But, so true. All I'll I'm saying is that neither party gives a shit about poor people, especially poor black people. The Democrats just do a better job of hiding it, maybe with the help of their race pimps LoL. But, You can't act like Republicans do more for poor people than Dems. Neither party does a good job at that...but, the Republicans love to give huge tax breaks to the rich and tax the poor.Do just one thing, Blaze ... Take a look at Bush's administration, then compare it with Bill Clinton's.
I honestly don't know what the average Black person's PRIVATE point of view is because I don't have access into their minds. You obviously do though. Most poor Blacks are uneducated, born out of wedlock and have no father figure at home. Uneducated people can be duped very easily. With race pimps like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton constantly harping on how "disadvantaged" "their" "People" are, combined with the liberal MSM pounding propaganda into their heads, it really isn't hard to understand why gullible, uneducated poor people would not like the Republican party, as mistaken as that would be. Consider this: why were the MSM and the race pimps all aghast when Bill Cosby started giving speeches in the ghetto churchs regarding the TRUTH about why the poor Black population is facing the dilemma they are facing? Couldn't be about losing power over these people now could it?

The "rich" pay the largest share of federal income taxes. The poor don't pay any taxes. I wish you guys would do some research on this subject instead of just citing DNC talking points. The wealth redistrubution nuts (socialists/communists) would LOVE for you to believe that the wealthy don't pay taxes and the poor suffer because of it. The facts are, the more assets that are kept in the hands of the wealthy and out of the hands of government, the more the poor benefit. The wealthy do not put their money in the mattress. They INVEST their money into programs that CREATE JOBS. These jobs are what help the "poor" to get a leg up onto the ladder toward success and out of poverty. On the other hand, government handouts create dependency and an ever downward spiral of poverty. Don't believe it? Take a real good look at our inner cities.
And Med sez ...
Well put, just ask Vi how much he benefited from Bush's tax cuts,~LOL~, rediculous
~lol~ indeed, Med. I freely admit that I benefited from Bush's tax cuts. Here's how: As you know, I work in a service industry ... the real estate business. I live in an affluent area. Bush's tax cuts gave people with means more disposable income. Some of those folks used that income to buy larger homes and/or income property. As they bought those homes, I earned nice commissions. As part of my service, I was able to recommend various workmen to do different types of jobs for these people. You know, like painters, carpenters, cabinet refinishers, carpet cleaners, gardners, pool men, etc. Now, that increased the money these service people earned, so they were able to enrich their own lives as well. Some of them went to Sears and bought new appliances for their homes. Some were able to sell the old car and buy a new one. Some splurged and bought new stereo equipment, or flat-panel TVs with surround sound. Some bought new clothes too. Now then, that enabled the car salesmen, appliance salemen, stereo salesmen, clothing salesmen and the TV salesman to earn more money too. Believe it or not, many of these people were able to contribute to their favorite charity too. Why, golly-gee, some were even able to buy into their very first starter home or small condo. I benefited from that also. With the additional commissions I earned, I was able to hire a nice couple from Mexico (here legally) to do all my gardening. They come twice a month and recieve my check just like a slot machine. As a result, I have enriched their lives a little bit. I was also able to take a nice vacation to Cabo last year. When I took the vacation, I took the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle driver got a nice tip and the company he drove for got a nice fare. The shuttle driver had a job for another day. Once at the airport, I let the "redcap" handle my baggage, for which, he got a nice tip. Once I boarded the plane, the airline got a nice fare, the stewardess and pilot got paid and the luggage loading crew kept their jobs for another day. It didn't stop there either. Once I was in Mexico, I bought several items from local shops, helping to keep the shops in business. I drank at the bar of the hotel, tipped the bartender and helped the bar stay open for another day. I ate at various restaurants in town ... and tipped generously too. So, you see ... even the "poor" people in Mexico benefited because that "rich" guy at the beginning of this little story got his "Bush" tax cut.
Now there are those very highly misinformed folks here in the forum who would like to severely punish the "rich" by increasing their taxes to the moon and handing their fluid assets over to government. How handing money over to government would have helped the lives of the persons cited in the above story is beyond me.
Perhaps Med would be kind enough to explain it?
Vi
I'll agree with you that government hand-outs don't solve a damn thing. But, your system doesn't work either. The richest 2% of adults on this planet own more than half the world's wealth. The bottom 50% of adults own less than 1% of the worlds wealth. There's something wrong with that picture. I don't think government dependency is the way to solve anything. But, there has to be a better system than giving huge tax breaks to people with millions of dollars sitting in the bank. Rich people definitely help the economy when they spend/invest. But, the problem is, most of that money sits in a bank never to be touched. I say give it to the poor. Poor people know how to spend money! The "rich" pay the largest share of federal income taxes. The poor don't pay any taxes. I wish you guys would do some research on this subject instead of just citing DNC talking points. Your a complete buffoon. Like the Democrat Elitists like John Edwards, you sit up in your ivory tower..deciding with your intellect rather than experience what is best for the peasants. You come across as the kinda guy that would get mugged and jumped while preaching how you are on "their side." If you came into the ghetto with your "you need me" speeches, you'd likely be shot down with federally "controlled" guns. You guys are retarded. I'm not talking from the p.o.v. of Liberals. OMG...do you even know what a bank is? Do you know how banks work?Rich people definitely help the economy when they spend/invest. But, the problem is, most of that money sits in a bank never to be touched. I say give it to the poor. Poor people know how to spend money!
Marx, I have total respect for my elders but on this site I am just typing words on a screen to a picture of marijuana that makes not a lick of sense.the Republicans love to give huge tax breaks to the rich and tax the poor.

If you bothered to read my posts, I think government hand-outs are a bad idea. I'm anti-Federal government, trust me. I just think the thinking of our government officials is flawed, especially the Republicans.Your a complete buffoon. WTF are you talking about 'you need me speeches'. Nobody said anything remotely like that. And trust me, I'm not sitting on an ivory tower. I'm not black and I didn't grow up in the ghetto. But, I grew up fairly poor and about 1/4 of my family is black, so I think I got a better perspective on this than 90% of the ppl on this forum.
Check their voting records? What records? They generally don't vote down here, The ones that do vote Democrat and the rest would too if they thought it would actually do anything
and uneducated people vote democrat because its the media tells them to.
If you believe that your a retard.
And if Republicans don't care about black people, what makes you think that matters? What makes you think they should care about ANY race?
They shouldn't, but as they do already care about rich white people, I just think they should do the same for everybody. They care about the COUNTRY....and if you can't wrap your mind around that then you are dumber then you put on. You even admit that Democrats don't care, either. Oh but they are better because they offer handouts to those of us that make bad decisions in life. What the hell is that? Get out of here you commie bastard.
Yes I do. Explain to me again how having billions and billions of dollars sitting in a bank, never to be spent, helps the economy?OMG...do you even know what a bank is? Do you know how banks work?
Poor people know how to spend money...not use it wisely. Cheetos and McDonalds and Best buy...thats what it will be sent on..........RIGHT BACK IN THE POCKETS OF THOSE THAT EARNED IT.
Your response shows your ignorance of the world banking system. I have no obligation to explain elementary economics to you.Yes I do. Explain to me again how having billions and billions of dollars sitting in a bank, never to be spent, helps the economy?
I did read them. It makes sense, that part of it. The problem I think is you offer up only complaints and no viable solutions and all the while uphold the superiority of Democrats......for no particular reason. If you bothered to read my posts, I think government hand-outs are a bad idea. I'm anti-Federal government, trust me. I just think the thinking of our government officials is flawed, especially the Republicans.
Alright...true. To start I would get rid of the federal income tax altogether. That would save a lot of money. Impose a luxury tax on the super-rich to make up for it. For every dollar over 1 million they make take X percent. Privatize schools because education=money. The government knows if they privatized schools students would do much better. It's been proven time and time again in studies. But, they don't want the population to get too smart, that's why they run it and don't privatize. It's no coincidence poor kids, go to the worst schools and grow up to be poor. There's more things but that to start would help the poverty situation immensely.I did read them. It makes sense, that part of it. The problem I think is you offer up only complaints and no viable solutions and all the while uphold the superiority of Democrats......for no particular reason.
Its as if you say you disagree with both parties, but you consistently reinforce your favoritism for the same party you disagree with most on economic issues like welfare statism.
Yeah your right about that. On economic issues I side with Republicans. On social issues I side with Democrats. Its as if you say you disagree with both parties, but you consistently reinforce your favoritism for the same party you disagree with most on economic issues like welfare statism.
I think they are all afraid of the big W. Ron Paul has balls, that's for sure. Some "ultra-conservative" talk show host made a rude remark about Ron Paul being a lier the other day. I also noticed that he would change his views to heed to the commander-in-chief's whims. He wasn't a conservative at all, just liked sucking Bush's dick. I think when Huckabee and Paul got into it it was obvious.... Huckabee made it clear that the Republican party needs to stick it out together, even in times of wrongness. I don't get why traditional conservatives are bashing Paul, other than the fact that its just the popular thing to do.I know not all Republicans are like that, but to me that sums up the average republican.

Please explain...I'll make it simple for you. Republicans are bashing Paul because he wants to take away their gravy train. Pure and simple.
Are you Kidding?Please explain...
