subscribed! Its hard to get that lumen count up...LOL I think im hitting the 4500 right now.

I thought I would throw up an update.

I started the girls on Molasses with their nutes and water and they are just taking off! I got little bud sites just starting all over the place. I figure I would give it a few more days and get some better shots of the starting flowers. Anyways! Here they are without the males. I love the smell!

Yeah those are gonna turn out nice, have you given any thought about putting some bulbs lower like on the sides of the plants? might help to fill out the buds when they get thicker. :-D

The one thing I have been doing is really keeping my eyes out for seeds. I know I need to do the clone thing but, you can never have enough seeds.

Here is the start of mine. I have the 8 Females in flower and I could snag clones, but I have over 40 seeds total. I got 31 Seeds from a older Blueberry Female, and 12 NL #5's/Purple Haze cross seeds from my buddy tonight. They also came off an older Female. Good chance for female kiddies!

Anyways here is a shot of the beginning of my seed bank!

Oh you bet Stonesour. I am gonna add to the lights this next coming week. Money is kind of tight, but I would like to get some down low. I work out of my house for the most part, so I get to turn them, and tend to them a lot. I would like to get more lights up!

Do you freeze your seeds? I heard that was the best way to keep them viable. I ordered 30 seeds from nirvana for when I get back from vacation and I threw them straight in my deep freezer.

No Stonesour, I just store them in air tight medicine jars. Keep them in a cool dark place. Have to google the freezing method, maybe I need too!

don't freeze em...put em in the refridgerator. If you put them in the freezer the moisture can expand and kill the seed. Anyways looks good purple haze by nl5 sounds awesome.

A: If you have to store your seeds, the best way to guarantee a prolonged viability is by keeping them in a cool, dark, dry environment.

We recommend freezing or at least keeping them somewhere cold. Cooling the seeds slows the natural process that compels them to germinate. Make sure the container you use is air-tight and light-proof. A black film canister is ideal, but a small Tupperware box or similar will also work.

If you're a bit anal, you can put a sticker on the outside detailing the strain name, storage date, etc. You can also add some grains of rice or one of those silica sachets to draw out moisture from the seeds.

We recommend using seeds fresh, but since Nirvana seeds come shiny and new straight from the source, there's no harm in storing them for a while

oh I guess i am mistaken...come to think of it, i do remember seeing a bunch of seeds in a freezer before, maybe it was you have to make sure that there is no moisture or the above statement could happen. Gotta have descidents or w/e. I think the freezer is for very long storage I have been storing my beans in the refridgerator for a year or so and mine germed.

Looking real good leafy. I cant wait to see how they turn out. Looks like we will both be harvesting about the same time.

Buds are looking good! I took some good shots last night and thought I would post them up. The plants are just raging. Everyday the growth is just tremendous!

Nice pics ML. I'm gonna bug you too, you don't need a lot of money. For like 10$ at walmart you can get a box of cfls that put out 900 lumens a peice. Also home depot has 27 watt daylight cfls for 1.50 (3$ for a 2 pack) that put out 1750 lumens a peice. Better off going with the soft white but daylight will help too especially if your using all 2700s right now. Anyways, they really need the light now you'll thank us later:mrgreen:
