So do I apply like a 1/4 cup to the top inch of soil and water it in? My ph is running between 6 and 7 now, will adding lime at this point throw things out of whack again? Thanks for your help Max!
no you will see the plants start to heal themselfs in just a couple of days..the damage that is there is already done for the most part. if will help you get some production off and you will start seeing green return to your plant.
dont be scared on the amount of lime you put in the soil it will not hurt your plants.
there is something they call fast acting garden lime they sell at lowes . ive never tried it but it would be worth trying.
mead some lime into the top layer of soil and pour water through the soil taking the lime into the soil so it can take effect .
if you run a co2 injector you will see any.
ANY deff. in your plant will show up like ten times worse.
remember garden lime 3 bucks for a 50 lb bag of it.your production will go up and so will the health of your plants. nice and green and healthy through bud.
it WONT let your soil go above a PH of 7.
my soil run off right now is around 6.5.
that is about ideal for dirt.
the marijuana uses alot of calcium and magnesium. both are in garden lime.
a product i recommend if you can find it at your local grow shop is a soil amendment made by happy from. its not their dirt.
it comes in a bale and looks kind of like saw dust.it has worm castings and bat guano and microrize in it . your production will go up using it for sure if you are growing in dirt.
if you go to organics and go to sub cools super soil thread you will learn the best soil mix you can make up . and he will teach you how to grow in the super soil .
the reciepe for the super soil. AND he has a strain growing guides for almost all of his strains so he will teach you how to grow them out for max production .
his guide is good for growing almost any strain better. check it out.
