Like if I'm a few hours late as long as it gets 12 hours or more of night it's okay for flowering? I leave the lights on between 12-15 hours a day and manually shut it off there after...

I know I should get a timer but just saying how important is it to keep a strict schedule? do people do other light schedules?

Its pretty important to have a timer. Even small changes in light cycles cause hormonal changes in the plant.

I didn't want to create a new thread:

How do I totally REVERSE the light schedule?

Now: Lights on during the day from 12:30 pm to 12:30 am how do I switch it so it's on at NIGHT from 12:30am to 12:30 pm??

what kind of timer is it? does it have a on slide and an off slide? and one to set the time that it actually is?

You need to watch out for using lots of off peak power (at night). I've heard its a good way to get busted in some areas. I only use a small amount of off peak power (water heater etc.) like most people, but households that suddenly start using an extra 1000w over night kinda stand out of the crowd.

Leave lights off for an extra 12 hours. Simple.

dude, there are things I didn't know before i started.

i didn't realize how much power i'm consuming during the day. now i can't use my microwave, hair dryer, anything really. it'll blow my fuse. so i want the light to be on when i'm alseep.

so how would you go about it? gradually or just keep it off for an extra 12 hours?

Most cant. They just read the meter outside and it usually has no time function. I say usually because I dont know about the new digital ones. If you need to change the light do it an hour at a time till your on the other end of the day.
