shipping seeds to your grow address, how many do it?

I've done it twice before and I'll do it again. If anybody has seriously been served a warrant for having seeds shipped to their house, I would really like to know. Otherwise, I chalk it up there with typical stoner paranoia.

I have seeds mailed to my address , but then again I'm in Colorado and MMJ registered , but when I lived in Georgia I had seeds mailed to my address there too, and with no MMJ documentation.
I chanced it when I lived in Georgia and over 3 years of having around 4 orders of seeds per year mailed to me, I never had an order intercepted.
If I had it to do over again I would play it safe and get a private mail box at a UPS store but I'd get the private mail box with a fake picture I.D.
Some people say get a PO Box at the regular Post Office but they scrutinize more when it comes to ID's. A private mail box at a UPS store would be more willing to take a fake picture ID than the U.S. Post Office, if anything was said.."man I've had 3 D.U.I.'s and my license taken away" - or some excuse like that. They'll probably be glad to have the business compared to the regular Post Office.

You aren't doing anything wrong buying from legitimate company some souvenirs. If you are going nuts then common sense would say don't order large seed orders just in case. Small orders though have to be by the thousands and they are a legit company why would anything cause a red flag? certainly the seed bank isn't going to report you, they have a disclaimer in fine print and that is all they need to do to cover their butts. Doubtful they have the time and resources to track down 100 dollar purchases from legit companies.

I used to worry about it but know many people who have their seeds shipped to their grow location without issues....though if you can avoid it , it is better not to. Personally I think things will be changing soon. We will be requiring the Govt to stop all proswecution of victimless crimes, so pot will be covered in that. Especially since hemp and pot can be used for so many things from food to medicine to paper to biofuels....it definitely shouldn't be illegal. The people have been too willing to just say ok and sit on their hands but since "We the people" elect those in office you all need to call and write your local Reps, Governor and even the president and let them know you will not tollerate this kind of control or oppression any longer and that the US has become what it swore it never would...and while we do need "Change", the kind our socialist liberal dictators are proposing is not the direction we were thinking... But if you don't make your feelings known they will think it is up to their personal preferences to decide when no plant should be illegal, especially since even the Bible says we aare given ALL seed bearing plants to use to our benefit. Who do they think they are? Yet alcohol is ok....

Though I did just place 3 orders at attitude, just always select the "stealth" option and you shouldn't have any issues. So I got like 40-50+ types of seeds coming in the near future. I was getting nervous cuz I didn't see any info when I put track # in but it made it just the same....and I am buying a house so I will be moving soon anyway. The house we are buying has 4 hidden crawlspaces/well 2 crawlspaces but a room at each end so 4 rooms that are 6x8x4.5ft so I plan on having lights in all of em. I have 2, 400's but plan on getting a couple more and maybe a couple vertical 600's...idk yet...depends how much extra cash I have at the end of closing... as long as you don't tell any "friends", you should be fine. The leading cause of conviction is trying to steal electricity causing an investigation or the other ratt bastards known as the "best friend" or "friend"....the leading cause of imprisonment...plus the FBI set up InfraGuard to get citizens to join and rat out their neighbors in exchange for declassified yet hard to find official information, etc...so you can't trust anyone...

the reason for shipping to your grow is you have no friends that are willing to have seeds shipped to their address
another very good reason is you're breaking rule #1 - tell no one about your grow
I'm the typical paranoid stoner. Been growing two years now from bag seeds. Always drooled over the strains, but never dared. I finally broke down this past weekend and ordered from Nirvana-Shop. Guess we'll see what happens...
Feeling pretty confident about it though. I keep my nose clean and don't broadcast. So it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

it depends on what state you live in what customs will do with the seeds if caught..in my state they will send them to the state police and they will be out at your home with drug dogs and a shit pile load of cops. DO NOT SHIT WHERE YOU EAT . IT IS NOT WORTH IT . I HAVE BEEN TO JAIL FOR THIS SHIT BELIEVE ME TRUST ME ON THIS ONE.
have them sent to a friends home pay with a pre paid credit card DO NOT FUCKING ORDER SEEDS TO THE GROW. order them at a rented mail box. (were you dont have to show ID to get it)
or have them order it to a friends house whos home is CLEAN no pills that do not belong their . no illegal switch blade knifes(fucking pigs stole a few of my knifes from my knife collection)and some other things.THE HOUSE THE BEANS WILL BE SENT TO UNLESS IT IS A RENTED MAIL BOX NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY CLEAN . the first place the pigs will go to is STRAIGHT TO YOUR COMPUTOR. most states i think customs just sends you a letter saying they confiscated your shit. in INDIANA they WILL be out to your HOUSE.

no question, a few states are special cases, Indiana seems to be right up there
i don't think i'd even try to grow there

I have been growing for years and my most importsnt aspect to my grow is security. I have NEVER broken any of the golden rules and I intend on living by this creed.
I will be the first to admit having seeds sent to your house is probably 99% safe. However, I prefer to not even have a 1% chance at losing my freedom. Thats just me. I am not paranoid but I am smart and until the laws are changed where I live, I will remain vigilant in my security procedures.
It's real easy to let your guard down and allow your desires for the next great beans to get the best of ya.
The golden rules of growing have been established for years and years. They are "golden" for a reason and I would encourage anyone who is growing in a non-MMJ state to stay vigilant in your security.

My bottom line...any chance, no matter how small, of a breach in security should NEVER, EVER be taken.

rule #1 of security is tell no one, that is the supreme rule
somewhere down below this on the list is 'no seeds to grow location'
how do you manage to get seeds to a safe location without anyone else knowing?
the PO box seem tough these days, after 9/11 all the boxes, even the UPS boxes, are going to need ID to open
