Hi mate, There is another way of getting more nodes than just topping your plant, Its called LST ( low stress training ) this is where you bend the main stem so that the smaller nodes on the side can catch up. Look in to it on here there is lots about LSTing.

Cheers mate, I have already bent it down a couple of times so far and it seems to be doing the trick I now have about three more points of new growth from the lower nodes. I take these are bud sites? or am I just making that up?

They will be!
Ooh I really hope so as they seem to be doing really well.

I have changed it over onto vita nutrients and its seem to have given it a we burst of growth.

Can you recomend any additives that will help with the growth during the veg stage or am i better just sticking with whats working?

Superthrive is great for helping build a strong root system, three drops per gallon of water. Also unsulphered molasses - at one tbsp per gallon, once a month, helps feed the positive critters in your soil. Both pretty cheap, too, and can be found at Walmart. (The molasses will be in your cereal isle, by the syrup - usually Grandma's).

EDIT: Sorry, I'm pretty sick - got pneumonia - you don't grow in soil, do you? I don't know if there would be a benefit to adding the molasses to a hydro or aero setup - somthing you might wanna look into, though. Also - a bit of hydrogen peroxide in those systems can keep bad bacteria under control, I can't say how much though.

I'm going to give the tech guys at Growwell.co.uk a wee call and see if they can recommend anything but things seem to be progressing well the way they are so im not sure if I really should.

Here are some pictures of the grow so far.

This was monday

and yesterday

She's beautiful! You're doing a great job, no, I don't think she needs anything else right now. Are you going to start a grow journal? Let me know if you do, I'll follow with you. You can leave a link here or in my journal, pm me, whatever you like.

Thanks DoeEyed I'm loving the whole growing experiance I cant weait to get my own new house so I can get a big Budbox tent and get a perpetual grow on the go.

The problem with just one plant is that once its done and harvested its done.

I actually have a grow journal DoeEyed the links on my signature but I stopped updating it as no one was reading it or leaving any comments when I asked a question thats the main reason I started this thread.
