They get so many people to snitch in that show because they'll promise them deals and shit.They have no say in getting you a better deal.Its all up to the district attorney,that always cracks me up when they get people.Theres usually one smart person per episode that dont say shit

I think the bigger danger from LEO browsing the site is not that they're looking for specific people to bust, but that they're learning about how growers do what they do. Every thread that asks about ways to hide grows, or cover odors, or whatever educates the police as much as it does other growers. "Ahhh.... so that's how they do it."
This website is probably as much of a goldmine for police as it is for us. And believe me, they're reading it, because they know that too. We just have to accept that we can't prevent that, and focus on making ourselves as safe as possible while sharing general, non-incriminating information. Best way to protect yourself is to offer no information that can lead back to you. Yeah, they can still get the info if they really want it, but the harder you make it for them, the more likely they'll just leave you be and focus on lower-hanging fruit. Most of us aren't worth the effort, and they know it. Make it hard for them and they'll move on to someone who's making it easy.
