sounds fine?
temperature should be from 70-80f and humidity should be from 50-60%
ajust the humidity acordingly for mould or non mould resistant plants, humidity should be kept lower on the final weeks of growth as you dont wanna get nud mould

Im having the same problem with heat rising sky high when i close my tent up. I have a squirrel cage fan in there blowing down on the plants. im going to get a exhaust to let all that hot air out and keep the fresh air coming. so ill be getting a exhaust and a intake fan that shoulds help with keeping the temps alright. Btw do you have pics of your set up? i have a journal you can pass by and give some recommeds ill do the same. prolly help each other out! =0

temps are not to bad. in a tent to drop the humidity you can use damp rid, just set it somewhere with good airflow. i use a 4" fan in my tent you should be ok. unless the humidity in you house is way high also

My house is actually pretty cool the a/c keeps it 70 exact no higher nor lower sometimes it gets pretty cold inside. Plus with all three vents open i was hoping and guessin that most of that cool air would juss go right in their but it seems to do the opposite. Im going to see if the exhaust fan works like I plan it to.

I would recommend a 6 inch exhaust fan at the top of your tent this draws a nice flow of air, and your intake at the bottom can be passive or a 4 inch. I run both and it moves a lot of heat out ..

I have the intake ducted into the tent and I keep it just at the top of my plants, this lets me move the light even closer cause it cools the air between the light and the plants.

Hi mate, I have exactly the same size tent - I have a small Vk101 fan for input and an exhaust fan (not 100% sure on size), I have a 400w HPS and a humidifier from Argos, I leave the humidifier on low setting and it keeps the humidity around 50% for flowering, put it on high setting and it will be around 60-70% for veg but with the exhaust fan off. Temps are around 75-80'F too which is perfect, if you haven't got one get yourself a temp/hygrometer and a humidifier. Hope that helps.

yeah im getting a 7' exhaust fan to suck all te heat out. right now my temps are around 77-80 with the door open and the humidity is at 41 so thats pretty good.

Hey bro, I have a 4' x 4' x 6' grow tent and was experiencing some heat issues at first. I can probably help you out depending on what lighting you are using. Hit me back and let me know....later.

OK Here's your answer.

1) You do not need a de-humidifier small ones are useless anyway.

2) You need a extraction fan of 5 inch depending on the length of your ducting, 6 inch would be better.

3) An inlet fan 4 inch bringing fresh cool air into the bottom of the tent.

4) A fan within the tent blowing just above the top of the buds.

5) Leave all fans running 24 hours when you see the buds densing up.

6) ? there is no 6 you have fixed your humidity problem and it will now be fine. :blsmoke:
