How often do YOU give REP? {honestly now}

i dont rep everyday, but i do try to give rep out every now and then. i'll give it to anyone that i think has been really helpful, or has made me laugh, or said something really intelligent/nice/etc. i also "rep back" every now and then...so i try to give rep back to the people i get it from. but i only do that (obviously) when i actually scroll down and look at who's rep'd me lol.

I give it when i think it is needed and not till then!!!......like fuzz and dark and chucky cheese!!! cause i know you guys have helpd me when i needed it!!! even if its not to do with weed!! (yea right)!! but i think alot of newbs dont know how or jus dont know about it and that in my opion fucks alot of the GOOD GUYS!!!!!

i give out reps when i laugh really hard, which the stoners here on RIU are always good for
i also give reps when i notice somebody answering a q the same as i would but more descriptive and better written. bricktop was great for this
and like sara said, im probably going to rep people alot more often after reading this thread

when i remember and when it's deserved. i'd like to be elite so i can give out neg reps. there ought to be a HELL of a lot more of those going out that plus reps

i generallyy only give rep for a good piece of grow advice or for talking with a good deal of common sense in mind.

i try to rep when i feel it deserved.. something witty, someone helping a newb, just good info, or like kaleo, when someone beat me to the punch.. dark destruction and i were doing this a lot awhile back.. i also try and rep if i'm getting into it with someone and than someone else chimes in and has my back, lol... and i usually try and rep back to whomever was kind enough to rep me as i common courtesy type of thing..

I rep a lot although I've never used up my day's available rep. Most of my rep is from being funny or sarcastic or, occasionally, for having a kickass grow journal. (I don't think it's kickass; I wish I were a better grower). It amazes me that so many people can spend a lot of time here being really good, productive members and their rep doesn't reflect it. It embarrasses me to have more rep than them.
Ultimately, rep means nothing. My sense of humor does not make me a good source for growing advice. This thread demonstrates that people get repped for all kinds of things, not just being good mj growers. So it's really not very useful.
