ok heres the deal im going to name some sites and let me know what you think.

i ordered some spores from micro supply and both 12cc syringes were clear as day and i inco 2 jars of each kind mazatapec and pes hawaii 1 maz jar didnt do anything after 9+ days and 1 did but it lookd gray so i tossed it in keep in mind i dont grow at my house of course, who would , but back to the subject, both pes hawaii did great and clean and going good, also i had puerto rican strain going and thats good to and those 10 cc syringes are full of spores and looks clumpy, but i ordered 5 strains from micro supply to see if they all look the same or not, they are only $10 buck each + 5 s&h no matter how much you get the shipping and price will be the same each strain and etc are $10 bucks ,

and now for this earths tongue i ordered 2 syringes (golden teachers,burma) this was last week thursday and they said i wont get it until sometime next week when it ships, wtf kind of shit is that? and i did the micro supply like weds at midnite and now both companys shipped them both on weds, and thoughst and etc and what do you think about the new moon syringes?

the biggest problem i have with using jars to spawn my substrate is the high possibility of contamination. im a much bigger fan of premade, pre sterilized growbags. just a thought. how much spore solution did you use? if you didnt use enough it can take A VERY long time to see growth. remember, you want the mycelium to beat any contams in the race for the substrate. the more spore solution you use, the faster the colonization. good luck to ya

i use 1.5 cc per jars at the max.

and for some odd reason every syringe i got from www.micro-supply.com all of them were clear. and every other company i went through they was packed with them.

honestly i have never bought spores from micro supply. in the future i recommend you only buy spores from shroomery sponsors because they have always been reliable. it sounds to me like there may have been no spores at all, or just a very minuscule amount. syringes i have ordered from spores101 have also been clear though and they have worked just fine....i have also had jars before that i thought were just completely barren of growth over a week after i inoculated them, then out of nowhere BAM the growth would just take off.

im sorry if i cant be of more help. trust me i understand your grief with mushroom growing. the best advice i can give is to keep trying and you will get it eventually. i know it can be very discouraging at times because its a little harder than everyone makes it seem on the internet, but it IS possible.

Heard good things about 101 but I never used them. I'm all about ralph, that place is like an hour from my house and comes quick as hell in the mail. Just wish I could go there to pick 'em up. Always had good, reliable spores.

Where'd you get your growbags from. I got a friend who for some reason desperately wants to try the grow bags as it's easy to get all kinds of substrates. I told him it was a bad idea because I bought a grow bag when I first started and I never had anything colonize whatsoever. Also, I've had great success with the pf-tek and small bulk grows. The bag was from some science supply store or something. Sadly I forgot the name or else I'd post it to suggest others to not go from there.

thats wierd you had no growth with the bags i have not been dissapointed by grow bags yet. they are FAR easier to keep sterile than jars IMO

I ordered from sporestore.com, no e-mail, no spores, no way to contact them. Straight rip off. I'll try some of the sites mentioned here.

P.S. They charged my card the day I orderred.

I used micro tech and got my GT syringe in like 5 days, inoculated 5 half pint jars 2 weeks ago and 2 are showing. I probably had them in less then 75 deg temps though, I set them in my grow room yesterday which is a steady 82 and notice they are colonizing much faster already...

i get mine 2 days after i order lol. crazy but im getting fuzzy stuff after i birth any ideas? peeps say its going to pin but its been 3 days since birth and 2 days since the fussy bumps and etc. i use mirco supply and eathstongue i used the new moon syringes and it colonized and grew the next day so it took less then 24 hrs and its all black so you know so if it shows white then thats a good thing. and gt are good i got like 10-14 diff strains.

Take a pic and go on shroomery and ask, I think the right side is healthy mycellium
