Smiley,

Just a drop or two of soap in the 1 qrt sprayer, but i was using about 2 1/2 to 3 tsp of the neem oil when the directions said to us 1/2 to 2 tsp. The person who I shouldn't have listened to told me I needed to go heavier then the directions called for to deal with an active infestation, that I should spray really heavily to make sure i was covering everything, and that i should spray every other day for 10 days while rinsing with water on the off days. About day 4 of this regimen i started seeing real problems, and i stopped by day 6, but the damage had already been done.

wierd. that has never happend to me and i use a tablespoon per litre. I have a reason to believe its not how much you mix its how much you use for each plant. Raise your lights when you spray untill its dried up. focus on the bottom of the leaves. I stopped spraying after week 6.
I use neem for cuttings and veg.
I prefer azamax over neem oil. Look it up.
I had a bad infestation that was unseen untill webs were forming at week 3. I rushed to the hydrostore and asked what worked the best. He told me" They dont sell this stuff in canada, But i do" "lol" he is a nammer lol. funny guy. I dont get much advice tho. bad english.
I got home and starting spraying. After 2 sprays they were diminishing. Its an antifeedent so the effects arent right away. After a week it was delt with. Get a pumpsprayer if you have alot of plants. The last dose i mixed with neem oil.
Mix the sprays in warm water before diluting. This will help mix up the solution before mixing with the rest of the water. Its common sense. You just have to be judgmental on feeding. No one on this site can tell you how much to feed unless they know temps,co2,water ph/ppm/ec,strain,ventilation/circulation,humidity,temps when lights off. etc etc.
And its still up to your plants on much they are going to use. Its up to you to read them and see how much they can handle.
When you spray watch out for high heat levels. Aviod spraying in the middle of the night. Raise your light double for the hour you spray. Ive done the same thing you have done. Ive burnt plants with to much kelp:dunce: I learned from my mistake. I mixed to much of it in the spray bottle. DUH. They didnt have mixing instructions on the bottle for sprays. But now i know to use half of water the soil drench would be. Common sense!! GL

Well I dont know about you, smiley, but I've gotten a lot out of this thread. I've never had problems with bugs, but if I ever do I'll be sure to spray right before light off.

Put compost all up in my jack herer before it was biodegraded. So a sludge of food scraps threw off my ph and burned her a bit. Dumb mistake but the shit turned out alright after an early harvest.
