Alright then guys,

Today marks 3weeks since seed, and unfortunately due to circumstances Iv had to start flowering today, i was gonna let them go to 6weeks b4 flower but what can you do.

I was gonna hang my 2 600w hps lights in the traditional fashion; over the plants side by side, but then i got an idea...... i took the reflector off one of them and did this....

tell me what you think!!

you can hang the bulb any way you like lol,

and ye hopefully this will increase yield because of maximising light penetration

It does help alot, I just setup my main flowering room this way but on a larger scale. The plants Love it!

Hey I just have one suggestion for ya...ditch the string! It can become brittle over time from exposure to HID lighting, even thin chain is much safer.

Too bad ya couldn't go 6 weeks veg, they would have grown out quite large! Ah well, they look healthy though :weed:

ye i know what u mean the rope loses colour over time so i change it every couple of weeks, holds fine tho lol hopefully it will keep going strong,
and ye i was so fuckin disheartened to have 2 start flower 2day, its coz my landlady came round 2day and said that mid-may she was coming again and would wanna see the shed which is my growroom, so i only have like 6weeks lol bad times so on top of it im on a 10/14 cycle

but fuck it lets see what happens

but it will trigger flowering much quicker and will be done with quicker too.
ill be glad to pull an oz off each which will prob be do-able

if things went the way id planed i would have got 2-3 off each, but hey thats life...

I really like the verticle and horizontal lighting,
something doesn't add up though.
If you only have six weeks till your landlord comes back,
and you just started 12/12 today, will your
plants be close to done by mid may?
Unless you plan to move them until the
coast is clear, then continue flowering.
Maybe they're fast flowering? Just seems like
6 weeks, minus a week or two to show,
leaving 4 to 5 weeks to develop is a real
small window.

ye well im hoping she delays her visit by a week or 2 lol but they probably wont be anywhere near done by the time i need to pull them,
fuck it tho, i love growing anyway, and this has turned into sort of an experiment now...
so we shall see what happens

and ill prob go down to a crazy 8/16 2weeks b4 shes scheduled to come lol hahahahaha

Hahaha I like your attitude! Let's hope she comes late, if not , you still get the experience of the grow :mrgreen:

It's tough renting and growing man, I know exactly how ya feel. This time around I lucked out and found a place where the landlord lives on the opposite end of the country but every other place iv'e always had nosy landlords that live close and constantly just show up to "see how things are going"...

Best of luck with the grow, I'd love to see how it turns out!

You need to fake a crisis just before the given date, which would mean she would have to rearrange for later. Personally I would do that, based on gaining yourself an extra week or two and allowing time for a good clear up (or dumping a load of old crap in there after cleaning to make it look like it has barely been accessed and is just junk storage space).

ye i was gonna do that but she has a key and comes round even if we're not there, she gives us notice of her coming but it dont matter if we're there or not :(
bad times mate but im hoping to get a small growbox for my next house so i can grow a few small plants, better than nothing

so yeh it got way too hot in there with the lights like that, even with my a/c and the extractor fan! 35c lol
so i put the light back horizontally and now everythings fine

but it makes me sick that i only had 7 weeks as of yesterday to flower
bleeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuughhhhhhhhhhhh sickkkkkk
im gonna hav 2 spark up some white widow to make me feel better lol

so how many lights do you have in there right now i have 5 plants and i only have 3 lights but theya re all growing well but i did a 7 week veg and they are amazing but is there a way i can maximize the lighting with those 3 lights??
