my friend said that like when u cut up ur plant to get the bud he said u dont have to throw the plant away and u could still use it to grow more is that true?

yeah its possible just make sure theres still leaves on it and just put it under 24 hour light. there will be a very long veg period involved and you will lose a lot of overall yield.

Generally speaking a second veg/flower period with the same plant is said be much less vigorous and considerably lower yield. Most people just start more plants.

technically you could do that but lets take a look at why its a wast of time to do that.
-when you throw her back into veg it would literally take about a month to get her out of shock and starting to grow again, by then you would already have really nice seedlings that would be close to put into flower
-each time you turn back a flowering plant you greatly lower the next harvest and stunts the plants growth.
-you pretty much would be wasting your time and money on a plant that would give you crap.
