To germinate you should have the minimum amount of light (or none at all) and allow them to sprout through the surface before adding any lighting. Without sucker leafs the lights are doing nothing for them and you may slow germination down by using lights during germination. Just make sure to keep the surface moist and not to allow it to dry out at all. If it dries out you take the chance of it drying out the shell of the seed then the seed suffocates. Another problem with germinating this way is you don't get to see when the roots are sprouted so you don't know if there are any problems with germination. Sometimes you see seeds with roots that die in the soil because they can't get through to surface of the soil also. These are just a few things to keep in mind. Rooting (digging in the soil) will usually end with breaking a root also so using this technique takes a lot of patience. Good luck and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Just harvested a few more plants yesterday and tomorrow I harvest the rest

when u do the soil method for germination a trick is to tightly (so NO air gets through) rap clear plastic on the top of the pot and u don't even have to worry about moisture. Water once before wrapping and it will stay evenly mosit till the little gals sprout. I used this method in growing tomatoes but actually learned from a marijuana grower lol.

I used a rubber band and a piece of a clear plastic sandwich bag.

Thing is Joker is that BC seeds said 20/4 from start to finish so I was just assuming from when it's in the soil. I dont think ive read anything super bad about having a light on during germination nor have i heard super good things, well the lights been on them for 2 days now and its too late to turn them off now cuz that would make a drastic temp change in there so i dont think im gunna do anything to them till they sprout, I just need to sit on my dam hands and be patient!

If it were me I'd back off the lights even more. They need correct temp and moisture vs. lots of light. Throw up a pic or 2.

moved them further from the light jus cuz there at 9 inches from the light i feel its a good respectable distance and i think my comp is finnaly recognizing my phone so ill post some pics in a sec boys!

theres a bunch of holes that I made in the bottom of the cups and i have them in a drain tray (used for plants runoff) to catch all the water that passes threw them but im not watering them till i see them pop out only thing I am doing is keeping the top moist

I kinda wanna think of a way to make them more stable in there cuz im worried that a cup coup tip over by accident or sumthing and that would suck! but then again there only gunna be in these cups for like 4 days after shooting from the soil then there going into bigger pots, I just want to keep that main root moving down as much as possible!

No problem man. Guess what guys? I smoked a bowl of some of the shit I grew (I have a clone to this plant too) and found 2 seeds. 1 of the seeds was all smashed up (guessing from peeling the bud off for the bowl) It was hella good smoke and had me straight couch locked. If I find another seed and you guys still want to grow a little of what I got I have no problem with sending you fellas a seed or 2 so you can grow it. There were no males in the room so I'm guessing a hermie snuck by me so the seeds are "feminized". I'm startin germination today on it lol.
