like I said no problem here. I just dont want to see a bunch of post in here from people that are just advertising as caregivers looking for patients. that way people that read this thread looking for info on the law dont have to go through a bunch of pages that dont really pertain to the law situation and the dos and donts. I actually thought that it would be neat to start a thread specifically for advertising caregivers as Im one myself but the site rules dont allow it as far as I know. thanks again to everyone that has contributed to this thread, it has deffinately grown a lot more than I thought it would and there is deffinately some good info in here.

Hasn't really evolved into anything...it's pretty much dead.

Thanks man. I do have other things to contribute besides that. I am interested to see what happens in California soon. It sounds like they are moving towards legalization! I also read a tidbit that I did not know, Massachusetts has fully decriminalized state wide and has a penalty of a fine up to $100 for on oz. Michigan has only opened this door to marijuana since 2008 but already it seems like it has taken off. In two years we have schools dedicated to teaching people about marijuana and clinics which can provide counseling to receive it. How long do you think it will be before the state moves for decriminalization? I mean Ann Arbor already has a pretty good start right.

I do hope you haven't registered for this so called college. You can get more information in this forum in a few weeks than you will get spending your $400.00 dollars. We will never run put of patients. VV

i know quit a bit about growing a breeding and i got a handful of successful grows under my belt, but since im from ohio, im not as familiar with medi laws in michigan, and i figure once i get there for this 1 week course it will give me a chance to do some networking and meet a patient willing to let me sign my name on their paper, making me there caregiver, so that i can get started as soon as i move up there..... if all works out that is

Our first Supreme Court ruling on the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act reinforces the new class of protected individuals:

Cannabando (k
n-
-b
n
d
)

n. pl. cannabandos or cannabandoes

1. An elite resident of the State of Michigan who qualifies to use cannabis for medically necessary purposes, but declines the protections afforded in §4 of The Michigan Medical Marihuana Act, and instead enjoys the sparser requirements and the extensive protections found in §8 of that same law.

2. (a member of) a unit of geurilla growers specially trained for tasks requiring special courage and skill.

3. (modifier) denoting or relating to a cannabando or force of cannabandoes: a cannabando raid or a cannabando unit.

v. To go cannabando, i.e, with only the barest requirements.
