So I decided to chop down my Sativa, as she looked ripened and all of the leaves have been dried up and dead for a few days. I did not flush this plant, in fact it's last watering was a feeding, but I have been chopping the lower growth of my other plants and they taste divine. So, it's nice to know that the Mg and N are getting used up and dealt with nicely. Also I dry my buds in my laundry room because my furnace is in there and the temps are around 90 degrees Fahrenheit and it is very very dry. It works really well and does not compromise taste and potency. Here are some pics of my chopped sativa, the buds drying, and some other buds curing in a jar and using for some smoke at the moment. The smoke is very kind and does not hurt smoking or vaping at all. And the taste is fresh. Like fresh fruit.
I'm hoping for an ounce dry for this plant. This plant has the leafiest buds I have grown so far and the effect of these buds are very cerebral, very focus orientated. You focus on something and then you zone out. Haha. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and more to come....

Well, here is a much needed update. About 2 weeks ago, I harvested another plant. Here is what it looked like right before I chopped her:
Main cola:
She weighed a little over 2 ounces so I was happy. I got one more plant flowering, and it is taking a little longer. BUT, the top colas already are ROCK HARD and they still have time to mature. I'm thinking two weeks. Here is a pic
My super skunk clone is doing good and I plan to clone it soon.

I've also noticed that since I have started giving colder than normal water to the last plant flowering, it is forming more resin glands very quickly. I'm starting to believe if you make the temp of the water that the roots absorb cold, then they will think it's cold outside and produce more trichs to stay warm. I also experimented with this on the last plant I harvested and it is crystal laden, and really shiny. Interesting.

Not only did trich production increase, but there was a very faint purple tinge to my buds as you can see.
Where u get that circle screen? Flour sifter?

You can make that happen for sure. A little ingenuity can go a long way. Your diy grow box with 57 dollars is proof. It's a nice little tool to dry a small amount.

Ok quick update. Total harvest has been around a QP with one more plant STILL IN WAITING! It's taking forever, but it's really packin on the trichomes. I'll have pics soon. I promise.

I just harvested my last plant, dried it up nicely and is curing now. Total yield of plant 3: 33.1 grams.
Total grow yield: Just over 5 oz's. I'm happy with it. Since this Indica dom plant was last to go, it had a lot of time to mature. Needless to say this smoke is for strictly night time. Two puffs out of a Roor and you're sleepin like a baby.
Here's some pics.
There should be 4 branches in pic 2, but I picked the one early and smoked it. That weighed a little over 6 grams making the total of the plant 33.1.

Nice lookin nugs.....Have you ever harvested your buds with your trichome around 30%, dry about 45-50% and about 65%. Great buzz....ya gotta give it whirl sometime.
