Yes, I think you may be on to something here. We need to get this man a research grant and some scientists!Your body produces chemicals similar to every type of drug knowen to man, right? Primates eat all kinds of things, I am saying this could have happend before we cooked meat(first)!
you make a very good point. the way i see it, the government is behind all this fear they are putting into ppl. think about it, when you go and see your doctor with a little one, what does they usually give your child when your done? a sucker and something to look at like 'what to do if this happens'. also i quit watching a shit load of tv except south park, family guy, and pbs everything else has been cut out. I can already feel my self getting better. no more radio even. the scary part is the mass media can really control what you purchase and watch and eat. hell they even sometimes can get your dreams too!Do you think that making drugs illegal can some day down the road effect the progress our bodies have made by being able to replicate them? Maybe even stop making them all together(in thousads/millions of years)
If you think about it Technology has replaced our physical evolution, mans laws have replaced our spiritual evolution, and the T.V. has replaced our mental evolution. Are we depressing our evolution? We are going to turn into little green men, and start taking over other worlds(our biggest fear is getting invaded by aliens, but we are only fearing our future selfs).
What I am suggesting is that the glands producing these chemicals in the human body were created from drug use for millions of years! The same way our brains and bodies have evolved through food consumption/preparation, but who wants to teach that in school. We actually know this happens for a fact. Cannabinoids are native to our bodies. We're born with them, or atleast chemical substances that are extremely similar to them. It's actually called the CB1 receptor that literally uses the Cannabinoids in our system.
We were technically using pot from birth according to science... XD
Would be nice if you could teach your brain how to block the MAO's from blocking naturaly produced DMT in your brain!!!Terrance mckenna talks alot about this in food of the gods the search for the original tree of knowledge (a radical history of plants, drugs, and human evolution) I think there is a direct link between human consciousness and the various chemicals we put in our bodies through foods. Another cool thought that has been kicked down to me is N,N DMT replacing serotonin as a main neurotransmitter in a few thousand years of evolution which is crazy to even think about you know a DMT flash could be glimses into human evolution a thousand years down the road. Well until the day DMT replaces serotonin I guess I still gots to smoke it
I'm really not too sure how that part works, yet.but if its produced in the pineal gland it can release straight into the brain and never have to deal with MAO's if I understand correctly. I know if it goes straight into the blood stream through routes other then orally ingesting it MAO's are no problem it goes right to the dome.
The protines change in cooked meat. I learned in a biology class, that the protines created by cooking meat is what made our brains able to grow and develop.I would have to say the reason why drugs WORK is because those chemicals are in our brains, not the other way around. They wouldn't have made us create those chemicals because they would have had absolutely no effect and therefore been like any other plant/what have you that has no drug-like effect on us. Also, as to the meat thing, I don't know where you've read that, but the way I see it, cooking meat actually denatures the proteins, thereby making them LESS useful for our bodies. The only reason why we cook meat all the time now is that our bodies, over time, have lost the ability to deal with uncooked proteins. I don't know what precise chemicals are freed up when cooked, but I would really have to think that uncooked would be more beneficial to the brain.
my .02
Semantics exactly! What came first the chicken or the egg?yeah i know theyre broken down, or denatured. It makes sense now to think about it that I'm awake. The amino acids separated by cooking would be more readily available I guess, that is unless cooked too much...semantics really/ My point about drugs still stands though
