Unable to log on for two days. Created new account.

What is up with the site? Have I been banned (guitarabuser) ? I have been unable to log on since yesterday morning. I keep getting an "incorrect username or password" error. I thought maybe I was screwing up my password somehow, but when I went to use the "lost password" function, it says it is not an email that RIU recognizes. It wouldn't let me use my regular email address to create a new account either. That ended up with the "database error".
If I've beenn banned then somebody man up and let me know so I can move on.

If I go directly to a post that I made I see this:

I noticed this earlier tonight when viewing one of PadawanBater's threads. I figured he must have gotten "really" banned (as opposed to temporarily ) because he suddenly appears as "Guest" with "N/A" for post count, etc.

Just thought I'd give a heads up for Padawan, in case he is indeed not banned. If he is, then I guess that's none of my business.

Thanks Potroast. Still can't retrieve password for my username. Site rejected my password for this new username and I had to reset it. Something is still screwed up. It seems that the crash from 3 days ago must have corrupted the database. I'm not the only one having problems it seems.

This is where I make the choice that I made after I was burned by Windows Vista. Do I start all over again with Windows 7, or do I say screw it and go to a better OS? In this case, do I start all over again on this forum, or do I find another that is actually maintained and has an admin that is not MIA? I mean come on, almost 1 week since a major crash that deleted multiple user accounts and NOT ONE WORD said about it by the keepers of the flame?
