your light should have how many lumens it puts out on the mini ballast,
i would say 130watt around 10,000 lumens but thats just a guess tho

i went to the flower show today , they got some good displays and i spoke to the bloke on better homes&Gardens "the landscaper" i also left with about twenty different succulants.

that plastic shell your globe is connected to with the holes for ventilation is also considered a ballast just on a smaller scale which is obviously built in , and yeah thats enuff light for an okay grow for 1 plant until your flower.

That's Ninja Mr! Sounds like you either:
A - Got really lucky odds.
B - Some1 turned a plant Hermi properly & u got some resulting bud.
Or C (Most Likely) - The plants r Hermi genetics & just havnt shown teir true colours yet.. Have u flowered 1 right out completely?

dude it's really hard to say. at the end of the day only you can decide how you wanna go about your grow. and questions are always cool, but the more you read the more you will figure out on your own with all the information available. doing it that way will ensure you end up doing things the way you really identify with and will do best at.
