Snow White & Blue Mystic....Time to Chop???

Gang,

Well here it is, nearing the end of grow 2. Both have been in 12/12 about 10 weeks or so and I am thinking of hacking down on Monday am.

Grow was using a 150 hps for both plants. I encountered some bad ph swings mid flower and lost a lot of fan leaves but as you can see, the buds still look pretty good and they are ROCK hard and sticky as a mofo. I cut most of the dying leaves off last week if you are wondering why they look so bald. I only vegged 2 weeks and tried to keep them 2 feet or under.

Under my 30x I see all cloudy and about 15-20% amber based on my guess. I think they are ready and just want some opinions before I give them the axe.

As I mentioned in my post, I had some PH issues and lost a lot of fan leaves around week 5-6. So back to my question...do they look done?

The buds look done. It is strange seeing a plant without a shiiteload of foliage.

they look....beautiful man. Your so lucky. Where i live we got some awesome bud. Its rare and it comes from out of state more than half the time. Just had some trainwreck, was some piffy stuff but not sure if really was because people here like to call it something else so they can up the price ($70 for a slice? haha blow me!) That blue mystic seems like a fine tree as well as the snow white, i may just have to get some feminized seeds of those for my first grow!

Thanks for the good feedback y'all. I have chopped the BM and am chopping up SW shortly. God I hate manicuring. What a chore but worth it. I am pretty sure I got at least a zip on each. Who knows though. I will post picks once buds are dried and trimmed down again.

i think he got the seeds from Nirvana... jsut my guess tho.. I know Nirvana has Blue Mystic AND Snow White. I ordered White Widow from there.. adn its coming out AWESOME! Just in case your looking for another strain from Nirvana to grow. You can check out my signature.. The White Widow is 6 weeks into flowering and doing great! I like the Blue Mystic a lot! I was so close to ordering the Blue Mystic.... had it in my "shopping cart" and everything.. adn ended up going with the White Widow... but from the looks of your Blue Mystic... I think I might get some of that next. It looks GREAT man.. Loving the blue hues it has! Yeaaa, if you havent already deff chop'em they look ready. And heyyy.. who cares about there not bein many leaves.. gonna save you a shitload of time now that your bout to chop them. Those lil yellow leaves should come off no problem! =)

Well good Luck! and if you can.. you should DEFF post some pics after you have them all trimmed! I would LOVE to see both of them all trimmed an neat. +Rep man.. your grow came out great! Keep up the good work!

Hey there,

I had ph issues once I started using Tiger Bloom and had no meter. I realized I was feeding at about 4.5 ph for 2 weeks and it took all the leaves right off!! I have a good meter now so will not have that prob again...

The good news is that both plants are chopped and dried. I will post some bud shots soon. I got about 1.25 oz. on the Snow White and a little under a zip on the Blue. Since I had so many leaves die quickly, some of the buds have some old dead trim around them but it does not bother me, they both smoke great and have different highs and tastes. Got them from Nirvana as some have mentioned....

Niiiice. Cant wait to see the pics... Snow white is anotehr one of Nirvana's top sellers.. adn Blue Mystic too! The other top sellers are AK-48.. White Widow.. and Black Jack.. Nice yield tho. Ill be checkin for the pics!
